Roland17: Our ownership is very useless and selfish. Most Milan fans will support selling Leao and Theo because they will bring in good money, problem is, our ownership will not reinvest that money into the team. We need to fully transition F. Camarda into our first team because he has shown he can handle the pressure. We shouldn’t have included the option to buy in the CDK loan deal with Atalanta because he is a good player.
We lost P. Maldini as our technical director because he questioned how RedBird were running Milan which ultimately led to his firing. The free agents Inter chase have high weekly wages we cannot accommodate. For example, our highest weekly earning players are Bennacer (135K) and Leao (123K) while Inter’s are Martinez and the betrayer Calhanoglu (both at 213K).
While Atalanta have made great strides, they are not ahead of Roma when it comes to competing for the Scudetto and I don’t see them as dark horses. The Serie A is going to be tougher this coming season and top 4 will be even more difficult. American owners and showing people shege. Well I've learnt more thanks boss. |

Roland17: Juventus would definitely challenge for the Scudetto next season. They have the roster, quality, depth and the pocket to improve their roster. Allegri was too defensive and cautious and that is why they struggled. The expectation is for Thiago to join them from Bologna.
Unlike Juventus, AC Milan don’t have the pocket but we have a good roster with deficits in our defense. A lot of people do not understand how difficult it was for Pioli to keep us competitive considering the roster quality, depth and budget. I don’t expect us to win the Scudetto, except some heavy investment in our defense and CF position which is unlikely with RebBird who continue to Penny pinch the club.
Inter remain favorites going into next season because they have the stability in coaching, the pocket, roster and depth. But why don't you guys go the way of inter with getting players for free especially those in the Italian league? Or just sell leao for at least 150m then reinvest in the squad like how you used tonali's money last year? Then the possibility of loans, we get plenty small children that need to shine before boehly and Egbami's policies waste them, I think apart from a striker to replace giroud your attack is okay, do you also feel Atalanta can be dark horses going into next season based on their performances this year cause I don't think Roma is ready. BlueAngel444: Lukaku is rumoured to join him at Napoli So this is how lukaku has finally turned Italian olosho? They should not come for loan again o cause we need funds to buy the striker that Jackson will be warming up at 75 mins for. |

Gyokeres is the only notable option, but command a high fee. We don't need to spend that amount on a striker position So what do we do cause we can't still go into next season with Jackson as our main striker. |

Amoto94: I beg to disagree, both tactics and players are to be blamed for missing out on top 5. At a point we had to name kids and 3 goalkeepers due to injuries and suspensions, in some games the players let the coach down especially in the Carabao Cup final and FA semifinal against City. There is no way you are going to maintain consistency necessary for a top 5 push with bunch of players blowing hot and cold every matchday, the near consistent performers were Palmer, Gallagher, Gusto and to some extent Caicedo. How can a team perform regularly with this combo of problems tactically naive coach and subpar players? Egbon nateevs he's right, many factors contributed to us missing out on the top 4 first of all starting with the board and their nonsense structure, injuries, suspension, influx of young players given to the coach to mesh till he gets his right combination, inconsistent or average players like Jackson I know you no wan hear am but I go talk am and then the tactical wackness of pochettino. It's things like this that made us have a defence vs attack argument in the first place. |

oliverano: Lol, Inzaghi is not defensive at all. He's very adaptable like Anceloti. That he's playing 3-5-2 doesn't make him defensive. Motta tried to explain this thing. He said you can be ultra defensive in a 4:3:3 and be ultra attacking in a 5:3:2.
Inzaghi is a top/modern coach, Gasperin is also good! Inzaghi that almost gave apari another nightmare if not for Martinez and especially lukaku is the one that is a defensive coach, dod they not come back down from 3-0 to 3-3 against benfica in the group stage? were they not attacking and missing plenty chances against atletico before losing on penalties? The defensive inter Milan has scored the most goals in Italian league this season. And that is the league that will present the highest number of participants in Europe next season. All these nitpicking just to defend the potential appointment of baby coaches. |

Android17: We will be here when you guys are shouting McKenna out or Enzo out. No be Chelsea again?
So finishing 6th from 12th of the previous season was not good enough with plenty new young players that the manager had to iterate before finding the right team? But all of a sudden Enzo and McKenna should be given credit?
LOL. In this era when most elite coaches are in job or on sabbatical like club the sensible decision would have been to find a compromise with pochettino and let him go next season since his contract expires next year before scouting for a tested coach. For all the shout we normally do here he's still a better coach and knows how to handle pressure than 100% of these coaches linked to us. I saw a report where it was said the board are looking for a coach who would grow with the players meaning they are getting someone who would be satisfied with the constant young players being brought in and work with them whether he likes them or not. Real puppetry. If the owners know they are okay with midtable finishes, no challenging for the league, constant exits from cups till the young manager finally gets his acts together they should just tell us and save the fans all this stress. This their the young shall grow project better work if not it might be only Boli and Egbami that would be watching games at Stamford bridge. |

How is erdin terzic better? What has he won ?
Inzaghi looks manageable but he doesn't play the type of football the boards wants.
There is no top top coach available. This is the era of young coache, the era of guardiola and Co will soon phase out.
This young coaches need to make out name for themselves and they need to start from somewhere.
If you don't give them chances, how will you get the next top top coach Is this Chelsea or stoke city that we'll be giving greenhorns chances till they improve? Every single manager you are currently nitpicking started from small clubs and have won a trophy and coached in an European final except terzic who will do his own next week. You said I should give you example, Pep from Barcelona B, to Barcelona A. Zidane from real Madrid B to realise Madrid A.
You are talking like McKenna wasn't in united coaching staff for 5years before going to Ipswich.
But then again you guys comparing Potter to him is weird because Porter never had instant success with Brighton nor any of his former teams. So the both comparison no follow. I said from championship to the premier league But all good, looking at pep and zidane that their clubs signed from their B teams was McKenna not with united coaching staff for 5 years but when ole and co were sacked he and none of the other staff were highly considered for the job? If potter wasn't one of the best young coaches in the league would Chelsea have signed him? Or what do you think made Chelsea sign him? Also How times do you see the top 4 teams beaten by teams in the bottom part of the table? Go and watch the championship e dey happen well there. |

BlueAngel444: first off, you're stubbornly refusing and change the ideology i shared with you. I said the child passed the 4th year, then you change it that he will fail if he doesn't know anything about it.
First off, do you think those of us who get As don't read, do you think he will take a grade higher exam without actually reading and preparing for it, even without been taught. Common, don't play dumb
Your very statement it's not time for him to step up is why I gave you that analogy. You can either believe in the kid or you don't. And just like you don't you won't try because you don't even want to believe they can do it.
Amorim that's my first choice may come here to Chelsea and fail, it won't be the first time a top manager fails at another club and league. If McKenna fails, there is Amorim who doesn't seem willing to leave sporting CP yet, maybe because of UCL football, who knows.
No matter what Xabi has made a name for himself and his next club may be Madrid. I can remember when Madrid hired Zidane it was crazy but it worked out very. 3UCLs back to back. You never know what could happen with McKenna If I'm using your analogy McKenna doesn't have any experience of managing the biggest league in any country whatsoever except in the lower leagues and would likely take longer time to adapt than those with prior experience in it. We were jubilating when we signed potter who was one of the best young coaches in our league? How did it go was he given more time like arteta and co after the job swallowed him? The championship is a different ball game entirely to the epl. Can you tell me any coach plucked from the championship to a top club that you know was a success in recent memory? Championship that anybody can beat anybody. |

Potter was wonderful till he came to the bridge.
He should go and take small heat from Brighton fess.

BlueAngel444: never said I did, I categorical said I read about the club. Leicester bottled a lead, their manager Enzo didn't get manager of the year like Kompany did. That's his business. It's not today clubs started bottling lead but to sneak in poor run of form into this your agenda is wilddd.
If you understood what I wrote, I wasn't comparing the two divisions but seeing the possibility that a manager new to league could do well in it, new to championship which by the way has ex EPL teams in it, and do well. It's been over a decade a club did a double promotion from league 1 and jumped to EPL and Southampton did relatively well in EPL because of that foundation but even Southampton rise is lesser compared to McKenna pulled off with Ipswich town. Guy Ipswich town FC. You take an average league one team to EPL within 3seasons with a high win ratio.
See eh, let me help you. When a primary 3 kid scored at least 95 in all his exams. Why not try this kid with primary 4 work, and the child does a 94% average.
Won't you be thinking what if I prepared this child for common entrance
Not because it's what happens but because you feel there must be something special about that child.
When someone does something that isn't common, it's common sense to respect the person. That 7yr old kid in primary 3 may turn to an A student in Jss1 even though both are two different worlds. That primary 3 kid that scored at least 95 in all his exams would fail woefully If he doesn't know anything about the primary 4 work he's going to be tested with because it's higher than his level. We and Ipswich have different ambitions based on our achievements over the years. We are expected to win or put in top performances almost every season in every competition we participate in. We will play ulokpa next season if apari wins fa cup we have been successful in that tournament do you think Chelsea fans would spare McKenna if we don't perform well there? Next year we are going to play in the club world cup would you say you want a terrible performance because we have a relatively young coach? These clowns we have as owners are probably looking at Xabi Alonso and a puppet to control forgetting that Alonso apart from getting experience with real madrid and real socidedad academies also played and learnt under Mourinho, ancelotti and apari, I don't know if I'm right but I think he was getting his coaching license while playing. The point is McKenna has potential but now is not the time for him to step up to a big and demanding club like Chelsea or manyoo. Rant over. |
