Pls I have an enquiry.
I got admitted for a program with sponsorship by way of graduate assistantship covering the tuition.
I however have $3600 to pay each semester, totalling $18,000 for 5 semesters for about 2 and a half years.

I'm beginning to make arrangements for the interview. How much would be appropriate to have in my account?
Is it OK to lodge lump sums in different batches starting now till the date of the interview? Would it be a good explanation to say I liquidated some crypto assets I have resulting in the lump sum deposits?
I have been working for over 12years and I have been saving in crypto for a while.

Also I currently have an active US visit visa already and I have travelled and returned.

Use CBN official rate to multiply the cost for a year. They usually need your finances for a year. But it's okay to have the $18,000 too if you can just to show that you can self sponsor. You can lodge everything once as far you have explanation/evidence of where the funds came from. It's always good to have everything in one account

Please how does one go about presenting financial abeg?

Many Congrats and thanks for sharing the good news! Please, how long did it take the Lagos consulate to respond to your Emergency Appointment request? And was it within 60 days to your programme start date you applied for the EA?

Uhmmmm.... I just saw that now. And I didn't really look at it. Could that be the reason for all that? I will have to cross check it when they unfreeze my account.

Good morning everyone,

Please, I am trying to schedule an appointment for F-2 visa interview. After filling in my personal information, i was taken to a page where i will fill for dependent travelling with me. Because, i have none, i clicked "continue". It then asked if me and my family members are citizens of Nigeria, I clicked "yes". It then asked if i have had multiple entry F visa before, i clicked "no". The next page ( i have attached the screenshot), stating that I have to go back to step 2 and choose a location for my interview.

After multiple times of trying, my account was frozen for 72hours. Please, who has experienced this, and how did you rectify it?

2023 you meant.
Ever since I've been checking for rescheduling, it has been dates in 2023.
Like you said, I wouldn't know if the request has been granted or denied, as a feedback tab on my dashboard says my emergency request is closed.
I honestly wish someone here could help please.

I’ve been waiting for response on my emergency appointment request at Lagos since March 20 and my resumption date on I-20 says May 19th. Plsssss could you share your experience with getting by the EA. I would appreciate any advice.

Is August 15 the earliest resumption date or when your classes begin? You can keep checking for closer dates if August 18 is class start and if you don't find you can apply for an expedited appointment, 60days to resumption

120 days prior to that date you can apply for an interview. But you won't be allowed entry into the USA within any date more than 30 days to the earliest arrival date. Hope that makes sense.

You can try that if it will go or go to your bank to find out if you can pay with your naira account or ask friends in US schools that you know to help out.
