Amirable:What would you like to know |
Marimart:Please ask your question here |
Palazo:Palazzo Palazzo! The one guy that went to see my dad to confirm whether I was genuine and became friends with him ![]() Lol. How's life been bro. Happy New year to you too and thanks for your prayers. |
Hi guys, Like I said earlier, I don't know much about student's visa. Not because if I want to know, I won't put my mind to it but because I wouldn't bring my family here to study. I won't advice what I can't allow my family to do. Not that schooling here is bad but I've always been an advocate for working and saving your money, then moving to another country where you will be taught in English and your certificate would speak for you and you can enjoy other benefits associated with that country. You should only follow the school route if you don't have a first degree and enough money If you already have a first degree but want to get another or just want to keep studying, read my advice above again My honest 2 cents. The decision still lies in your hands That being said, if you have applied to or plan to apply to ULIS, VNU and Thai Nguyen University,. and you have questions or want to make enquiries, drop it here and I'll compile and ask the guy and post answers here. Please ask reasonable questions and don't DM with questions about schools. It's not me that you can DM 24/7 with questions and I'll answer, this one would be forwarded to someone else. One last thing, if you have enough money, go for British University Vietnam. Choose courses where your certificate would be jointly awarded by then and the UK. I still don't advocate for schooling here |
Hahnemann:On a good day, PMS is cheap and if not for the news, I probably wouldn't have noticed. These days, I use the bus more as it's cheaper. Schools aren't fully back to normal so no rush going to classes and the weather is crazy cold. Not as cold as last year where temperatures dropped to 6C though. It's been a crazily annoying wet winter This year, the lowest it has been is 10C. The thing about the cold in Vietnam is...even though temps are not as low as in some countries where it gets to -2 or so, the humidity contributes to making it colder. Righ now, it's 11C with a humidity of 86%. Trust everyone's good |
[quote author=carbonado post=110134113].....omo, things are really cheap over there,i am really impressed.[/quote Yes they are. That's the beauty of living in Asia. Earn well + spend less |
carbonado:Here where I am, cheapest is 240 for fully furnished one bedroom apartment. Similar but not as good as this place, you won't even dream of that amount. my neighbourhood recently won one international city award...like in the world. I was prouding ![]() |
carbonado:My dear see eh, if they even use one strand of shunbo (not sure of the spelling, but those slim long ones) to cook for the family, they'll be shouting pepper pepper pepper. that's how bad it is. You need to see how they look at me llike an alien when i go to buy pepper and i'm packing it ![]() |
LesbianBoy:So when you get to a country for the first time, a lot of things would catch your fancy and you'll take lots of pictures and have lots of things to talk about and share. Multiple this feeling by 10 for someone who's leaving the country...no Nigeria for the first time to a place where things are organized and done differently, the excitment is more than double. After 2 years of being here, I've seen it all, at least for the provinces I've been to and nothing excites me anymore. The pictures i took then was you guys seeing things from my eyes first hand as I saw them, when it was still fresh, amusing and incredible. Now, I don old so I just try to take pictures of things I haven't shared before which isn't much. Hope you understand. If there are specific pictures you want or specific topics you want discussed, then I can do that |
Hahnemann:Nahh I'm not blaming him. I know it can be hard to believe but women are capable of great things too. Got some more good news coming later this year sef ![]() |
Mogajunior:Thanks. I'm a lady sha ![]() |
mystery22:You can delete it |
mystery22:Thanks. mystery22:Ummm...don't know how else you can reach me . You can drop your email address on a dead thread and mention me, then delete afterwards mystery22:I would like to think so as long as you're a foreigner |

Good news! After being indoor since May 2021, the government has finally ordered all schools to reopen from 7-14 February. It hasn't been easy honestly especially for those of us in Hanoi and HCMC. Glad things are finally coming back to normal. Let me go and brush up on my Be Quiet! Open your book! Listen and Circle and all those small small classroom talks in Vietnamese ![]()
