while filling in my o level details during putme registration, i mistakenly inserted my center number instead of examinations number. How can i rectify this? Secondly, what if someone scores 35 (which is less than 50) in uniben's postume and his aggregate reaches 50% because of high jamb score. Will uniben consider him for admission?
What is been used before one can be considered before admission will be given in uniben is the aggregate score. Once it is 50% and above, one stand a chance of been admitted.
about the error in your application, you will be logged out or asked to visit the school Auditorium/CRUP for it to be corrected.

Thank you and God bless you. This is mind relieving. Now I can sleep very well. And am I going to make payment for the correction?
No, it does not attract any form of payment.

Hello everyone. During my Uniben application, I mistakenly submitted C6 instead of C5, thereby reducing it. Ever since then, it has really been disturbing me. My question is that would it affect during clearance? And is it a serious error? It urgent pls.
Thank you
\

That's not a big problem. if admitted, you will be "logged out" during the physical clearance for you to correct it, or, you will be told to visit the school Auditorium/CRUP for it to be corrected. The only pain, will be a delay in your physical clearance.

hi..
my exam is supposed to be at the ICT "lahos"(which is probably lagos) class on the 7th.
i printed this on friday
now i went back and it has been changed to rivers class..
which should i stick to? huh

Draei wi5dom
There is no problem. It is in the same ICT building, go with the recent printout, and tell the staff on duty, the class. You will be told the room/class to enter.

At from Maingate, take a cab which is N100 to ICT Building for easy location.

*modified*
Or if you are at the school back gate, Ekosodin or anywhere in the school if you are not close to the Faculty of Education, it wont be a waste taking a Cab to your venue,ICT building. It is N100 fare within the school premises.

I guess what they gave you is actually the preferred combo for that course!
Your jamb combo looks more like that of Physical science/Engineering.

Your course should be under management science/social science.
It is under physical science.

do u have any idea if we candidates will wait till after everyone might have finished their exams before uniben releases results or they will be releasing results daily batches by batches just like jamb did?
I do not know how it will be done this year. Using previous years as a yardstick, one have to wait till the end of the putme..... and all result are released ones.
And before 2011/2012 set, your result comes out with admission status; "admitted " or "not admitted"

i'm an art student, i applied for library and information science.. My UTME subjects were english, literature, government and crk but to my surprise i saw Maths English Economics and their questions weren't funny at all as the subjects to write.
After we wrote and submitted we were later called by the invigilators due to our complaint/protest of injustice uniben gave us subjects against our wishes.
They then gave us a sheet of paper and we wrote our names/reg num and original jamb subject combination and submitted back to them and they told us they will get back to us but if they don't get back to us that we should be rest assured that they will sort us out and take care of everything because they know some of us here came from long distance.
We were only 25 in number.
What do u think?
Should i travel back to my state or they might likely reschedule us to come back on a later date to write with law and art candidates?

Sorry bro...I believe nothing will happen for now untill the end of the PUTME. Dont put all your hope on that sheet. wishing u admission.

pls somebdy shud tell me how i can locate ICT Delta class. my exam is on friday!
if you are coming from Maingate, enter a cab which is N100....tell the drive to take you to ICT Building.

Or

From maingate, take Uniben Shuttle which N30 to Education, when you drop, cross to the other side....there is a road there that leads to ICT building which will be at your right-hand side.

still valid but u cant get in through JAMB
Bro dont be decieved....what you are saying is particular to a school. You shouldnt have generalized it. Uniben is always already to take you even though it is 1990 O'level. Just speak for that school that wont take an aged o'level result...and you are unknowingly creating fears in aspirants.

Okay...try using explorer or pc ucweb. And about LG of Origin, i believe they should be accepting affidavit from any High Court. But do try to get a student from/of the school for proper guidance.

Hey Wi5dom when I registering for Auchi poly I was asked to fill out my Olevel result but they don't have b2, b3 instead it is A2, A3 should I go ahead and do it that way or not? Also they are asking for state of origin certificate which I don't have, I was wondering if it was compulsory to upload that

Thanks in advance
Try to use another browser for other o'level grades to show using a computer. Better still, try lastest Mozilla browser or use Chrome browser.
For the state of origin, are you sure it is not Local Government of Origin certificate they requested? Meanwhile, try to get a student of he school asking him/her if an affidavit of "state of origin" or "LG of origin" is accepted.
Best of luck.

Pls house, is it possible to do change of institution after registering for postutme in another school? will someone be disqualified?
The jamb portal may still be open, but, you may have admission issues where you registered putme and your data won't probably be on the said school list you are doing the change to.

JAMB New Step-By-Step Process Flow For Admission Into Tertiary Institutions

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has provided the Step-by-Step Process Flow of the Admission Exercise for the education and information of general public and the stakeholders, particularly the Candidates.

(Candidates should note, in particular, steps 8, 16 and 18 that require their Actions and Decisions)

1. After successful completion of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and
release of results, lists of Candidates were forwarded to their First Choice Institutions

2. JAMB thereafter requested all Institutions to use the Lists to determine their respective Cut off
Marks and forward same to JAMB ahead of the Policy Meeting and programme (course).

3. JAMB received and collated Individual Institution and programme (course)Cut Off Marks as
determined by their respective Senate / Academic Board

4. Three (3) Representatives of Institutions- (Vice Chancellors / Registrars / Provosts), Registrars
and Admissions Desk Officers were trained on the Central Admissions Processing System
(CAPS)

5. Policy Meeting was held with Heads of Tertiary Institution and Regulators to determine, among
others, the General Cut Off Marks for categories of institutions, based on earlier submissions of
individual Cut Off marks by the Institutions.
At the meeting, which was held in Abuja on Tuesday, 22 August, 2017, the institutions decided that the lowest submissions from Institutions would also be Minimum Cut off Marks and these were 120 (for Universities) and 100 (Polytechnics, Monotechnics and Colleges of Education). It was further agreed that the Cut Off Marks as determined by each Institution’s Senate / Academic Board and submitted would be maintained and applicable for Admission to the Institution.

6. Based on requests at the Policy Meeting, JAMB requires each Institution to reconfirm its Cut Off Marks and Sets the Cut Off Mark and other Institution specific parameters such as other Admissions Criteria (e.g. Post UTME Screening) and carrying capacity on CAPS.This is on going.

7. Institutions download (from CAPS) details of Candidates that meet the Institution’s and programme’s Cut Off Mark and had selected them as First Choice Institutions. JAMB additionally provides softcopy of the same information on CDs to Institutions

8. Awaiting Results Candidates upload their results to JAMB Portal

9. Institutions may conduct Post UTME Screenings for downloaded candidates

10. Results of Post UTME where applicable are uploaded to CAPS to obtain aggregate scores for the candidates

11. CAPS ranks and suggests candidates that meet the Institution’s Admissions Criteria as configured on the system by the Institution.

12. The Admissions Desk Officer of the Institution reviews the List of the Suggested Candidates and makes the decision as to which candidates to select for further processing.
The Admissions Desk Officer generates a List of Proposed Candidates for review and approval of the Head of the Institution

13. The Head of the Institution reviews the List of Proposed Candidates as appropriates and push the List of Recommended Candidates to JAMB

14. The JAMB (Admission Officer) reviews the Recommended Candidates to confirm they are from those initially sent to the Institution; met the Admissions Criteria as advertised in the brochure and as set on CAPS by the Institution, including upload of and confirm that no qualified candidate has been unjustly denied Admission.
No candidate will be considered without the upload of his/her O’Level and/or A’ Level results.

15. JAMB generates a List of Provisional Admissions

16. JAMB notifies Candidates to Accept / Reject Admission

17. Candidate Accepts / Rejects Admission on the JAMB Portal or through USSD or Short Service Code within 72hours.

18. If Candidate Accepts Provisional Admission, JAMB updates Admission Status and forwards List
of Confirmed Admissions to the Institution

19. Candidate prints Admission Letter and Proceeds to the Institution for further internal Admission
Processing
20. If Candidate Rejects Admission, s/he becomes available in the Market Place for further possible consideration for Admissions.

****Market Place Operations****

The Market Place feature in CAPS provides flexibility for the Institutions to source for candidates who may not have earlier chosen the institution for Admission consideration. Institutions may specify various selection parameters such as UTME score, State/ Local Government, Gender, preferred programmes /course of the Candidates.

The List of Candidates so selected from the Market Place are then pushed to JAMB who then notify the Candidates of Market Place consideration by Institutions.
Candidate may Accept / Reject Market Place consideration, subject to a maximum of three (3) Market Place considerations at a time.

The Candidates could also approach the Market Place to announce availability for Admission consideration from any institution or for any programme different from those earlier indicated during the UTME Registration, provided s/he has requisite O’ Level Results and wrote the required subject combination in the UTME.

Any agreement or understanding on Admission consideration between the Institution and candidate based on Market Place operations will have to be effected with a requirement for the Candidate to effect a Change of Institution on the JAMB Portal to be available for Download (Step 6 above) by the new Institution to follow the subsequent steps in the Admission Process.
It should be noted that:

The existing window for candidates to change Institution or Programme in addition to the Market
Place is still available through the e-Facility.
Institutions can download (Step 6 of the Admission Process) list of additional candidates who
have changed to the institutions since the last download
Admissions of candidates can be processed instantly or in batches by Institutions.
