please, after payment of acceptance fees, can one upload the relevant documents by his or herself online without going to any cafe? using a PC I mean.. please is it advisable? as going to Benin for online clearance is not an option for me.
And in my area, u go to the cafe and end up teaching them everything while still paying.

You can upload your documents anywhere if you have the necessary device to do it. If you are using a phone scanner, make sure it is visible enough before uploading.

PS - It is better using an actual scanner.

I think after you have been posted, you are expected to go to the camp with your medical report so that you will
be relocated if not to your state of residence, it will be a state close to you.

PS- put your state of residence as an option where
you would like to serve.You might as well be lucky.

My bro has been given his choice course, Accounting.
I had to go to jamb office to check if his O'level results was uploaded. As expected, nothing was there and I was asked to upload which I did on Wednesday. I kept checking CAPS until yesterday evening it changed to admission in progress, check back later. I checked back this morning and he has been offered admission.
The point of this epistle is, don't wait for any message from jamb cos they won't message everybody. Go to any jamb office close to you with your profile code to check if your results is really there.
Congratulations to you all on your admission. Big thanks to wi5dom, draei and every other person trying to help out.

Congrats™ to your bro and thanks to you too for being a nice and a caring brother.

My younger bro had 60% aggregate and chose Elect though not from catchment (Ondo State) and also use AR, he uploaded the first time after Waec result was released, this week he got a message from Uniben admin about possibility of his admission being delayed due to not properly uploading his O level result on Jamb site, infact he was instructed to re-upload immediately, He has done that again anyways. Is it safe to say he will definitely be admitted since not everyone (AR) got the message? Can they change his course? And did he still stand a good chance of being admitted??

I think being from uniben's catchment area, only gives an applicant a better atmosphere, but, not a guaranteed admission depended on the performers of"catchment area" applicants. But there is a "chance" given to study another course.....and i wish you luck.

I do not know the number of applicants for the course, but, with 59% aggregate score she should be very hopeful.

Take for instance, common Edo language is 59, while competitive courses like Economics, BFN, Mcb...etc are 55, 53..? Come on. I rest my case.

DE Candidate must fulfil the following criteria:
Only candidates who applied through JAMB for the 2018/2019 DIRECT ENTRY Admission and chose the University of Benin as First Choice are eligible for this Screening Exercise Obtained at least five (5) credit passes at GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, or their equivalent. The subjects must include English Language, and Mathematics (for courses for which a credit in mathematics is required) as well as three other relevant subjects (four if excluding mathematics); at not more than two sittings.

The procedure for the 2018/2019
Admission Screening application for
first time applicants is as follows

1. Visit www.uniben.edu Click on
Student Portal

2. Click on Applicants and then
select POST UDE ADMISSION
SCREENING 2018/2019

3. Click on Register for application at
the top left of the displayed page
to proceed.

4. Enter your Surname Exactly as
written on the JAMB Registration
slip, and JAMB Registration
number. Immediately, your ID and
Password will be displayed on the
browser

5. Back On uniben.waeup.org click
on 'Login' (top right of the front
page).

6. Enter your username and the
password to login.

7. To start the application process,
please click on 'Application
record' and provide all required
information and upload your
passport photograph.

8. Upload a Recent and clear 1” x 1”
COLOURED passport photograph
with red background in JPEG
format only.

Great care should also be taken
to follow the specified formats
on the UNIBEN website and
portal.

NOTE that the photograph
uploaded will be the only valid
ID for all admitted candidates
throughout their stay in the
University of Benin. FAILURE
TO UPLOAD THE SPECIFIED
PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL
LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION
and failure/forfeitures of
admission.

9. To pay for the Application, click on
“Add online payment ticket” at
the bottom of the page, then click
on “Pay with Remita” on the top
left corner of the page, follow the
instruction to pay the application
fee of N 2,000:00; (This excludes
Service Charges), the admission
screening exercise past questions
for N2,000:00 (optional); with a
valid ATM-Enabled Card from any
Commercial Bank in Nigeria

10. A link is displayed “Download past
questions to practice upon
successful payment

11. Preview and confirm your
information before submitting
your application online. (No
correction will be accepted after
the closing date).

12. Go back online on the appointed
date to print out the
acknowledgement slip that
contains your specific screening
schedule
Candidates should go back Online from

***23rd August 2018 to check for the

Uniben DE form came out today for registration. Public administration is also open to DE applicants.
