Reason: the admission body of Uniben knows best. Aggregate score towards getting admission into engineering depends solely on applicant's score for the same course under engineering.

Uniben do not make known to the public cut off mark for any course of study. Just do well in your putme for good aggregate score against applicants score for the same course of study.

This might be the one that got you debited. Try to query it again using another browser.

Query other created payment IDs too if this particular payment id fails again.

Good day people in the house.
Please my nephew is having challenges completing his UNIBEN post utme registration.

We have uploaded the necessary details but having problem paying with remitta.

We have opened more than 5 payment tickets and have tried paying using ATM (VISA) card.
N2000 have been deducted from my bank account in the process but the status in the portal says FAILED! (See the picture below)

Please is anyone having similar issues.
Can someone help me on how to resolve thistle please.

Good morning. Since you have been debited and you haven't gotten a reversal from the bank , open each transaction/payment and re-query it one after the other, and hopefully the payment status will change to "paid"

Click on each payment ID, look at the top of the page, I think you will see "query"

Yes they do and they can also give that which wasn't filled too.

hello house I need an urgent answer from y'all, during jamb registration I was told to choose one state, one federal universities from jamb directives. but I chose lasu first on state university, uniben second as federal university. but when it's time to apply for post utme now in uniben, they specify first choice. can I still apply for the post utme.

Sorry bro, you were wrongly informed. You are to choose any university of your choice regardless of being state owned or federal. But do also know that, some universities only accepts first choice candidate to partake in their putme exam. Uniben is one who doesn't invite those that chose them as second choice. And you can't apply for Uniben putme. Best you can do for yourself because to me, there isn't a risk again....go and do a change of institution. And before doing it, do a research on state or federal university that invites those that chose them in their second choice of institution. All the best!

Change of institution/course is still on according to jamb & registering next is still within the time frame.

My concern is if his details will still show on uniben's data base when registering for post-utme cuz some are still having issues of 'no record found' Any idea wi5dom?

All these kinda changes should have been done long ago.

Those having "no record found" should be sure that they are inserting their surname and jamb registration number correctly. Also try your first name in place of your surname. And if it persist, they should kindly exercise some patience like a week in other for their details to be updated by Uniben portal.

Make sure you have filled the necessary sections and have uploaded the right passport. If done, scroll down the page, you will see the submit button.

I think... it is calculated like this and without using a calculator.

144 base y = 15 base 10
(1x y²)+ (4 x y¹) + (4 x y°) = 15

using [-b ± ( √(b² - 4ac)]/ 2a

y= -4 ± (√16 - 4(1 x -11) /2
y= -4 ± (√16 + 44 )/ 2

y= ( -4 ± √60)/2
y= (-4 + √60)/ 2 or (-4 - √60)/2.

if you have a calculator, you will have

y= (-4+ 7.456)/2 or (-4 - 7.456)/2

y= (3.456/2) or. ( -11.456/2)

Do away with the negative answer.
therefore,
y= 1.728.

#I hope this calculation is right though. It's been a while solving maths questions.

I only know of one way "driving" regarding these

Since the numerator is value smaller than the denominator. Add zero to the numerator to get the first "0."

It will become 730/450= 0.xxxx
450 can only gotten from 730 once..
this gives 0.1 remaining 280.
add zero to the 280 to become 2800.
2800/45 gives 6 remaining 9 to give 0.16xx
add two zeros to 9 to give 900.
so 900/45 give 20!
so this gives us 0.1620 using this "time taken" method.

in cases of such decimal like
in another example
0.00025 ÷ 0.005 put it as 0.00025/0.005
only cancel the zeros after the decimal point
it will leave you with 0.025/0.5 or 0.25÷0.5
so
0.025= 25/1000 0.5= 5/10
25/1000 x 10/5 = 250/5000 =25/500 =5/100 =0.05.
