Bro, sometimes we just have bad luck with electronics, bought an iphone 6 when it just came out , it packed up in 10 days, i vex and started using cheap tecno and infinix phones, this year again i bought a macbook pro and now the speakers are dead within 2 weeks... both purchases were brand new and original.

I keep telling people to shun all these tecno, Infinix etc, they thought I was just been naive. I only go for brands with track record. If it is not Samsung, I go for IPhones. For tablets, I use IPad. For tvs, air conditioners etc I use LG, Samsung and other reputable brands. They might be slightly expensive but 10 out of 10 times, I get value for the money spent. I am currently using a Samsung phone that was bought 2years ago and till date, it is still on point. Never took it for repairs for once. I am about dashing my younger bro this current phone and going for another Samsung or iPhone soonest.

I have given my phone number to numerous people over the years and most likely that number would have spread. That does not now mean, that anyone who gets hold of that number should know my name! I see some people photo on truecaller. Imagine that.

If someone is planning your assassination, it will be so easy to get you with true caller. Its wrong. I also removed my number from their database.

Another provoking thing is that truecaller gets details, from people's phonebook. That does not guarantee accuracy. Nigerians save numbers anyhow. Someone can save my number as Greene.66 Nairaland. (Does that mean its my name?) just like I save my mechanic number as "Ahmed Mechanic". Now, anyone who gets that man's number will know he is a mechanic. Is it right? I saw my friend's number as "Janet Runs" (Are you kidding me?). Truecaller should be scrapped. Its unfair

When people are greedy and ignorant they get scammed. I listed an iPhone 7 plus 128GB here for 210K, someone said it's too expensive and I told him, this is not a regular iPhone 7, it is iPhone 7 plus 128GB. Another person joined the convo and they said all sort of things against me, I just walked away from the argument. The thing is, it's not as if you can't get an iPhone 7 plus for 160k or 170k but it must either be a stolen one or the real owner needs money ASAP and wants to sell the phone to solve a particular problem. Other than that the phone should not be less than 200 cos the market price is 230k for a used one and 300k for a brand new one.

I hope your client will be more careful next time.
