Na now their eyes clear. Fulani don collect their chieftaincy stools and all seat powers. No single Hausa governor in the north . 1979, Alh. Balarabe Musa, a staunch talakawa politician and an able follower of Aminu Kano, a Hausa muslim, was impeached on frivolous reasons to paveway for another muslim, this time a Fulani , to be the authentic Governor of Kaduna State, as if Balarabe was not authentically elected. This was done to please the North. The vexatious cloud of contortion in the whole scenario is the cultural vulnerability of the so called Northern minority politicians to be used willy-nilly to dash the hope of their own people. Some Northern Non-Fulani Governors and politicians from the Northcan die for Muhammadu Buhari and Atiku Abubakar respectively, but they cut the tails of their fellow Northern tribesmen to please their feudal masters - the Fulanis - in order to do so. Now let us place the Biafran war on the slaughter slab vis a viz the so called Northern minorities. It was these same Northern minorities that really fought the war for their overlords called Fulanis. Yakubu Gowon, Martin Adamu, Theophilus Danjuma, Zamani Lekwot, David Mark, Joshua Dogonyaro, and host of others, were used to prosecute the war. When "real Northerners" were done with Gen Gowon , they removed him for their own in Murtala Ramat Mohammed. That coup was used as step-up to launch an ethnic cleansing of Non-Fulanis in the Nigerian military, which ideological obscenity has persisted till date in Nigerian military and paramilitary. The sobriquet of One North, One Destiny, One People is a lie from the pit of hell. Is the North monolithic? How porous is this dictum as a catch phrase. "Arewa" is Hausa word for North. Recall , it is not a Fulani word. Why ? Hausa is by far, the most populous in the entire North, but they are voiceless. The Fulanis are very few , not more than 6 million, but they are in control politically and economically even though they are not aboriginous Nigerians. So, a Hausa word must be used, not a Fulani word, to galvanize support for the whole North, so as to consolidate on their power. This is the racket of cultural nudity in Northern Nigeria from Uthman Dan Fodio time which has served its purpose very well. And they would call all Non-Muslims, including those from the North as pagans, "Kafiris". Well, I am not a Kafiri. I am Child of God. A pastor and a Prophet. Not a pagan, Kafiri or even Arne. They have their north, and we have another North. Davidson Rotshak Lar JP 26/06/2022 NORTHERN GOVERNOR AND THEIR ETHNICITY: HERE IS THE ARRANGEMENT: 1. Adamawa State – Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri (MARGHI) 2. Bauchi State – Bala Mohammed (FULANI) 3. Benue State – Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia (TIV) 4. Borno State – Engr. Prof. Babagana Zulum (KANURI) 5. Gombe State – Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya (FULANI) 6. Jigawa State – Umar Namadi (FULANI) 7. Kaduna State – Uba Sani (FULANI) 8. Kano State – Abba Kabir Yusuf (FULANI) 9. Katsina State – Dikko Umaru Radda (FULANI) 10. Kebbi State – Nasir Idris (FULANI) 11. Kogi State – Usman Ododo (EBIRA) 12. Kwara State – AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq (FULANI) 13. Nasarawa State – Abdullahi Sule (FULANI) 14. Niger State – Mohammed Umar Bago (NUPE) 15. Plateau State – Caleb Mutfwang (MWANGHAVUL) 16. Sokoto State – Ahmed Aliyu (FULANI) 17. Taraba State – Arch. Agbu Kefas (JUKUN) 18. Yobe State – Mai Mala Buni (KANURI) 19. Zamfara State – Dauda Lawal (FULANI) HERE IS THE ANALYSIS: Northern Nigeria has 19 states and 19 governors. Out of these, 10 governors are Fulanis, while the remaining 9 governors represent over 300 other ethnic groups in the region. Now, consider this: The Hausa ethnic group, with a population of over 66 million according to World Atlas—that’s over 55% of the entire Northern population—has no single governor. All their states are ruled by Fulanis, who have a population of just 13 million, barely 11% of the Northern population. Nigeria is composed of three major ethnic groups: Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo with Hausas having the largest population. Yoruba have 6 governors, Igbo have 5 governors, But Hausas have not even one—because the Fulanis have politically and strategically enclaved them. With this arrangement, why won't the Fulani bandits k!ll, maim and rape Hausa and other tribes peacefully and wantonly with utmost impunity? The Hausas accepted the Fulanis peacefully, embracing them due to shared religious beliefs. But eventually, their traditional rulers were eliminated, and a Fulani oligarchy was installed. Today, the political leadership of the Hausas is no longer theirs. Are simply reduced to beggars and gate keepers. They are robbed of even education. Hausas have become tools in the hands of Fulanis during elections. They are mere shadows in their own land, despite their numbers. Currently they are going through unimaginable hardship, and those of us who understand the Hausa language know the kind of lamentations that are voicing out daily. It's so funny that even Kanuri people are wiser than them. They never allow Fulanis to conquer Borno and Yobe State. That's why they can still raise their head up in their own land. This conquest is not coincidence—it is an agenda. They have already succeeded in Kwara and Nasarawa States—both in the Middle Belt—and are tactically spreading their tentacles to other States in our region and extending down to the south. This agenda has been in motion for over 200 years. Just recently, it was funny that Benue traditional leaders, instead of acting decisively, were holding peace meetings with the same people everyone knows will never honor such peace. You cannot negotiate peace with someone who is intentional about hurting you. You cannot negotiate with terrorists. Once they settle in your community, their next move is to seize your traditional and political leadership, and eventually, they will seek to erase your identity and history. I was stunned when I saw a Fulani man contesting for the House of Representatives for Akwanga/Nasarawa Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency. Imagine that. When I raised concerns, an Eggon friend replied, “His mother is Eggon.” What a level of blindness! That is exactly how the agenda works—they come to graze, settle, infiltrate, blend, and then rob you of your land and leadership. Benue State must wake up—before it’s too late. If you are in doubt about my research do it yourself and the outcome e go shock you. Bro. Tsekaa Friday Shuur, the researcher, writes✍️ ✍️ ✍️ ✍️ ✍️ ✍️ #benue_newspoint COPIED |

benuejosh:The Governor has spoken clearly that it's genocide against the people in their ancestral homes. As at yesterday afternoon the death toll has risen to 51 and many in hospitals battling for survival. TEXT OF A STATE BROADCAST BY HIS EXCELLENCY, THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF PLATEAU STATE, BARRISTER CALEB MANASSEH MUTFWANG, ON THE CURRENT SECURITY SITUATION OF THE STATE DELIVERED ON MONDAY, 14TH APRIL, 2025 My dear people of Plateau State, It is with a deeply burdened heart, but with a firm resolve, that I address you at this critical moment in our collective history. In the early hours of Sunday, 13th April 2025, the peace of Kwall District in Bassa Local Government Area was shattered by yet another round of coordinated and brutal attacks. Armed assailants, suspected to be Fulani militia, descended on the peaceful communities of Zike and Kimakpa, unleashing unspeakable violence that claimed the lives of no fewer than 45 persons, including women, children, and the elderly, without any form of provocation. Homes were razed, properties destroyed, scores of our people were inflicted with injuries, and families torn apart in the dead of night. This tragedy came at a time when the government and security agencies are already grappling with the aftermath of similar carnage in Bokkos Local Government Area, where, in recent days, 52 lives were lost and hundreds of homes reduced to ashes. Let me make it abundantly clear: *ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!* The lives of Plateau people matter. We will no longer allow our communities to be turned into killing fields. These are not isolated incidents. They are coordinated acts of terror aimed at instilling fear, displacing our people, and ultimately undermining our right to exist peacefully on our ancestral lands. Let it be clearly stated: these attacks are not random incidents. They are premeditated, coordinated, and driven by a clear and sinister agenda. While the state has grappled with various forms of criminality, such as kidnappings and cattle rustling, the violence ravaging many of our communities cannot be truthfully described as mere farmer-herder clashes. That narrative is not only misleading and dangerous, but it also disrespects the memory of those brutally murdered in cold blood. What we are witnessing is a calculated campaign of ethnic cleansing, an act that bears all the hallmarks of genocide. To suggest otherwise is to deny a grim and painful reality. We recall with pain the horror of the Dyanburuk (Dogo Na Hawa) massacre of 2010, the bloodshed in Riyom, Barkin-Ladi, as well as the Mangu and Bokkos Christmas Eve massacre that perished several lives. These tragic memories remain fresh, and they underscore the magnitude of what we now face. The pattern of the attacks since then has been the same, aimed at wiping communities and taking their lands forcefully. But let me reassure you: my government is alive to its constitutional responsibility of protecting lives and property, and we are rising to the occasion more determined than ever. Last weekend, I visited the attacked communities of Hurti, Mbar, Daffo, and Manguna to assess the situation on the ground. This was after a visit to Ruwi community where mourners were unleashed terror at a wake. What I witnessed was not only heartrending but pitiable, especially the conditions of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who have been cramped into church halls, forced to abandon the once-comfortable homes they knew. It was a sight that weighed heavily on my heart. However, despite the grim reality, I was encouraged by the resilience of our people and the tireless efforts of our emergency response teams. I sincerely thank the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) for working around the clock to bring succour to the victims. They have shown exceptional commitment in alleviating the hardships and suffering of our people. To the victims of the Kwall attacks, I want you to know: help is on the way. This afternoon, I held a State Security Council Meeting with all Heads of Security Agencies and consulted widely within and outside the state on how to mitigate this menace once and for all. I have already directed hospitals within and outside the locality to take in and treat the victims who sustained injuries. Our priority is to ensure that they receive the best medical care and support, as we also continue to provide relief materials and shelter for the displaced. We have activated all security and humanitarian response mechanisms to address the situation in Kwall and Bokkos. I have personally reached out to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who has expressed deep concern and assured us of the Federal Government’s full support. We are also in constant touch with the Chief of Defence Staff, the Inspector General of Police, the National Security Adviser, and other critical stakeholders in the security industry. Troops and other security personnel have been deployed and reinforced in vulnerable communities. We commend the gallant efforts of our security agencies who continue to work under difficult circumstances. However, more must be done and done urgently. Intelligence gathering must be strengthened. Response time must improve. And those behind these atrocities must be apprehended and prosecuted swiftly and decisively. Plateau blood must no longer be spilled with impunity. To the bereaved families of Zike and Kimakpa, and to all affected in Bokkos and beyond, I extend my deepest condolences. I grieve with you. Your pain is our pain. The Plateau State Government has directed all health facilities to provide immediate and comprehensive treatment to the injured at no cost. Relief materials, food supplies, and temporary shelters are being provided through our emergency agencies and partners. We are doing everything possible to bring comfort, even in this time of heartbreak. Fellow citizens, these are trying times, but we must not lose hope. Plateau has been through storms before. We have faced adversity. But each time, we have risen stronger. I am confident that with God on our side, this moment too shall pass. Our land will heal. Our people will thrive again. I call on all community leaders, traditional rulers, religious figures, and our youths to remain calm and vigilant. Cooperate with security agents. Share credible information. And above all, do not take the law into your hands. We are a people of peace, governed by the rule of law. Let us not allow the enemies of our land to push us into the abyss of chaos. My fellow citizens, we are proudly known for our hospitality, accommodation of visitors, and extending hands of friendship across the Niger, fostering mutual understanding and promoting enduring peace. These are cherished values that must not elude us. To my distinguished statesmen across communities and faiths, the time has come, and the time is now, to rally round each other. This is a battle for the soul of Plateau and not any ethnic group. Let us speak with a voice of conscience and reasoning. We love everyone living on the Plateau, but we must collectively rise against all forms of criminality and expose the sponsors. In conclusion, let me once again thank our partners, national and international, who have stood with us and continue to support our humanitarian response. Your solidarity is a beacon of hope in this dark hour. To the killers and their sponsors, know this: your evil shall not go unpunished. You may run, but you will not hide. Plateau will rise. Plateau will prevail. May God bless and protect the people of Plateau State. Thank you and God bless. ---- copied ------ |
mrksquare:State of Emergency in Plateau is uncalled for. The Governor is not The Commander-in- Chief of the Armed Forces. Imagine Bassa L.G.A. where the headquarters of 3rd armoured Division is located and the killing has been going on unabated for the past two weeks. |
I smell rat in the address. I think what I am, he shouldn't dare it. We can't afford another emergency rule in Plateau State while there's none in Borno, Sokoto, Zamfara, Katsina, Enugu, Ondo and Kaduna states. |
I don't think this man is getting accurate report from the relevant agencies. There was progress but in the last two months, it has gathered momentum in Plateau, Benue, Katsina, Zamfara, Kebbi, Kogi, Ondo, Delta, Edo, Rivers, Nasarawa, Abuja, Kaduna, Borno etc |

THE MOTHER IN LAW CALLED OFF THE WEDDING, NOT THE BRIDE - The bride's side of the story The wedding of the season was supposed to be the union of love and devotion between the beautiful bride and her dashing groom. The venue was set, the guests were invited, and the atmosphere was electric. But little did anyone know, a storm was brewing behind the scenes. It all started during the final counseling session with the reverend. The couple was asked about their plans for their future church attendance, and that's when the sparks flew. The bride, a devoted Catholic, said she would continue to attend her church, while the groom, a devout COCIN member, insisted that they would attend his church together. The reverend, sensing the tension, asked if they had ever discussed this during their courtship. The couple exchanged uneasy glances, and the groom revealed that his mother had been adamant that they attend his church. The groom said his mother made it clear that if the bride would not follow him to his church, the wedding is off. The bride's eyes widened in frustration as she retorted, "If your mother is going to decide everything for you, then maybe we should call off the wedding." The groom, taken aback by her words, returned home and shared the conversation with his mother. The mother-in-law's face turned crimson with anger, and she declared, "If that's how she feels, then the wedding is off!" As the wedding day approached, the bride realized that her future mother-in-law wasn't bluffing. She began to plead with the groom, promising to attend his church and compromise on their differences. But the mother-in-law's mind was already made up. The bride's desperation grew as she thought about her own mother's fragile health. She feared that if her mother found out about the called-off wedding, she might pass out from the shock. The bride begged the groom to reconsider, but his mother's influence had already sealed their fate. As the guests arrived at the venue, they were met with an empty aisle and a disappointed crowd. The wedding was officially called off, and the bride was left heartbroken. But was this really a tragedy, or was it God's deliverance on the life of the bride? Some whispered that the mother-in-law's controlling behavior was a sign of things to come, and that the bride was lucky to have escaped. Others speculated that the bride had dodged a bullet, avoiding a potentially toxic marriage. As the news spread like wildfire on social media, bloggers and commentators weighed in on the drama. But amidst all the speculation, one thing was clear: the bride had narrowly escaped a potentially disastrous union, and her future was now wide open. - Paul Kums X @_thetalkingpen..
