COMPILED LANGUAGES:

Computers don't understand our human language, it only understand bytes and codes of 1s and 0s. So in order for the computer to understand an instruction you are giving, that instruction must be translated to the 1s and 0s it understands. The translation is called compilation.
And languages that uses compilation are called compiled languages for example java, c, c++ are all compiled languages.

SCRIPTED LANGUAGES

Scripted languages don't need compiling instead they use interpreters to translate human language to machine language(1s and 0s) . Javascript, perl, Html are examples of scripted languages

The Difference

In a compiled language, if you write a code for an apllication and compile it and then you notice an error in your code, you have to go back to the source code and correct that error and then start compiling again. But in a scripted language if there is an error in your code you just have to correct the error right there and run it

I tried installing eclipse IDE but I was told I was using an old JVM version. Now I have been trying to download it but its not compactable with my laptop which runs a 32bit OS. And am only seeing JVM for 64bit OS.

Please where can I download a JVM/JDK for 32bit windows OS
