Hasn't this site been up for review several times? Well, so many things going wrong at the same time is why it rubs people the wrong way. 1. Logo - Hire a designer or just write your website name in plain text. 2. Navigation - Your navigation items are small and not properly placed. 3. Currency - An online store should only be displaying 1 currency at a time, u can then put the other currency's equivalent elsewhere. 4. Graphics and Icons - There are lots of free images and icons on the web, do your research. 5. Typography - Please know when to use bold/strong in a design. You are currently overdoing it. SCORE : You can do better. Go back to the drawing board. |
No more freelancing? Are u going to work for a company ( Microsoft, Google etc )? |
Which army come draft a whole you? |

Sorry but there are no exotic cars in that list. No BMW, Audi, Range Rover, Mercedes Benz, Lexus, Jaguar, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Maybach, Bentley, Ferrari or Bugatti. Na Toyota, Nissan, VW and Honda you dey call exotic ![]() SMH |
Dual Core: Unfortunately no experienced designer has "free time and nothing to do".Co-sign! |
Try increasing the line-height of the paragraphs. The texts are all too close together and make legibility poor. |
Project Website: www.kraftar.com Designed from scratch as a One-Page Project Website for my design business. It can be viewed on any device, be it mobile, tablet or desktop. The same codebase is used for all devices. Built with Photoshop, Notepad++, Html, JS and Foundation |
Received the 4 Sims through FedEx this morning. Hope things go smoother in the future. ![]() |
I bought the Huawei Mifi Router from you guys about 2 weeks ago and I have not received the 4 Sims that were supposed to come with the device. I have called repeatedly and explained that it is the principle of you fulfilling your advertised obligation that I am after. I have bought several items from you in the past and it was based on my recommendation that a family friend asked me to purchase said device on his behalf. Kindly send the 4 Sims this time around, as I am tired of constantly calling you regarding this particular issue. Sincerely, An SSM Nigeria customer. |
@ Yawa-ti-de Put this inbetween the header div and the other divMy code removes the unnecessary div between the header and the other div by making "clear" a class of the next div and not a separate div. |
Dual Core: put this in your CSSEven lesser code <div class="clear" id="nextSection">Put Content Here</div> |
I find it suspicious that Nairalist was suspended around the same time Dealfish stepped into the scene ![]() |
The only thing of value is the land on which the house was built. |
UncleJJ: its bull shit. its a theme. If you built the theme yourself, post the .psd file or the equivalent. Respect yourself man! Quit displaying an astronomical level of immaturity here! He asked for a review, if you don't like what he has done or have something to say, do it respectfully. ![]() |
1000GHC per month won't cut it, as living is Ghana is expensive. Lived there for a while, money burns much faster over there. Expense Breakdown Minimum amount required to live in Ghana 1. Accommodation - 120-200GHC per month 2. Feeding - 150GHC per month ( goes up every time you go to the market ) 3. Transport - 150GHC per month 4. Don't forget taxes. Definitely worse than Lagos here. You must also apply for residence and work permit, which is another round of wahala as they like to delay anything Nigerian over there. Also be prepared to carry your official identification documents anytime you leave the house. ![]() And sorry to say this, but most of them just don't like Nigerians. In fact, ask whoever is offering this job to include danger fees because whoever takes that job is going into hostile territory. |
guru01: From here person won hammer ooYes ke! Man must chop. |
If they can afford me , i can jazz-up their website for them. ( Shameless Advertising ) |
chrishenzo: Doesn't it mean that Seun and His Workers do not not practice what they preach? I thought the average Nigeria believes in democracy. Not that i love the swearing, but these are some of the things that make Nairaland special. People getting banned, then popping up with a new username, begging to be unbanned, etc. |
That concept won't work. The charm of Nairaland is not knowing what u'll see on the frontpage, b*tch*ng about useless articles being put on the frontpage, swearing for m_ds ( u have to blame somebody ) and more. The Digg concept worked way back then, but seriously, sites that used digg then don't anymore. Vive le Nairaland! |
spikes C: Very good man, maybe you can add a few colors to it according to the color scheme of the website and replace the 'L' in kulture with the female figure. Never liked photoshop, haven't really got a hold of it, prefers fireworksGood idea! Just did that in a hurry. Couldn't stand the one on the website ![]() |
Just did this in photoshop, because the one on that site is bringing your work down P.S: If she likes it, show me tha money!!! ![]()
|
On the upside, this concept is much better! It's leaner, cleaner and meaner. Now for the downers 1. That your logo get k-leg 2. Too much of the texts on the site are in bold. Try and reduce it. That's my 1st impression, will give u more when i have the chance. Score: N/A |
The quality of your pictures are some of the best i've seen in this section( if not the best). Kudos! ![]() |
Ask people to review your works first before you make it public not to talk about when you are presenting it to a client to hire you. It's annoying so much.
