CFA guys are trying sha. Currently going to a private library on weekends to study for another professional exam I'll be sitting for. Last two weekends I saw about 2 guys studying for CFA.. I knew it was CFA through the books on the table and the video one of them was watching.

Got chatting with one later on, only to learn he has actually resigned from his place of work as a banker to sit for the final level of CFA (level 3). Was impressed sha. I bow for una o. grin

Any CFA level 1 young chap shouldn't find it difficult getting into the likes of McKinsey.

Please which and where is private library are you talking about

You need to learn as much as you can before embarking on trading in the stock market. You have full responsibility for any profit you make or any loss you incur. I learnt mostly by reading books and online content. I suggest you do the same and trade very small amounts to get a proper hang of the system. The only skill you need is knowing when to buy low and sell high. You do not need any certification to trade on the portal.
Cheers.

Thanks for your reply. Can you suggest some books/online contents I could read??

MarvellousGod: hi, please send the test materials for the first and second assessment to blessedme979@yahoo.com ..... Thank you smiley
Guy, you dey everywhere... no dullings at all grin grin cool
mambani: I think more focus should be on GRE and GMAT because there will be 2 tests based on that. The IQ book didn't help at all, but it won't hurt to go through the book to cover all possible angles. Start practicing GRE tests if you're not familiar with the format. Early preparation is key because the notice is usually short.

Angelstartups: You can buy books on stocks picking and digest on your own to get a grasp of the basics of investing in it because the ultimate decision lies with you and you bear the risk alone even if you have a financial advisor (which is advisable anyway).

Any suggestions on the books one can read?
