It's really sad how some persons just post unintelligent comments without reading the OP.. |
I too have loved; Stole a heart at first glance Kissed a star under the glow of the Moon Went to war for a heart that wasn't meant to be. I too have mourned; Spent nights under the wave of cold tears Woke up with a bruised heart, I have died without being cared for. I too was young; Promised a world that I wasn't part of Died for a cause that wasn't me, I have dreaded the warm hands of loneliness. I too have lived; I was young I have mourned I have loved. |
You look up because you want to be exalted and I look down because I'm exalted |

[quote author=postbox post=66078197]Teleology Holdings has agreed to buy 9mobile, Nigeria’s fourth largest telecoms provider, the investment firm said on Thursday. 9mobile, formerly Etisalat Nigeria, took out a $1.2 billion syndicated loan from 13 local banks in 2013 but failed to make repayments last year. Under the stewardship of its lenders, it has changed its board, management and name and is now up for sale. Teleology said it had made a $50 million deposit to meet conditions for the acquisition and had partnered with East Africa’s largest telecoms operator Safaricom to transform debt-laden 9mobile. Teleology was set up by 12 telecoms industry veterans led by ex-MTN Nigeria executive Adrian Wood. Barclays Africa picked Teleology as the preferred bidder for debt-laden 9mobile last month and asked the company to pay a non-refundable deposit of $50 million by March. Teleology said it transferred the deposit to the trustee holding 9mobile shares on behalf of the lenders. Teleology said it had been in meetings in the last few days with executives of the . |
NOT JUST A GIRL She is not just a girl, she is more than a gender more than the tag; feminine, more than the metaphors in the line of a poem more than the punchline of a joke, She is not an excuse not a mistake not a property to be owned and possess, She is queen crafted with the hands of Zeus made alive with the breath of Yahweh She is a goddess. She is not just a girl, She is a rainbow after a stormy day a sunset after a dark night a shooting star from Venus a fierce thunder from the lineage of Sango, She is not inferior not a slave to be traded for pieces of silver, She is worth more than black gold worth more than the Persian diamond, She is a hero, She is a wonder a warrior from the tribe of Amazon. She is not just a girl, not a fantasy to be attained, her life is worth more the doctrines of a thousand religion, She is a being with emotions with a voice that wants to be heard a story that needs to be shared, She is my mother your sister your daughter your wife and she is not just a girl.

Ugosample:we have good christians and evil ones, same goes for the Muslims and traditionalists. You do not judge a group by the actions of some members of it. And nollywood is not really helping issues with the way they portray traditionalists. |
It's really sad that the African traditions have been sold to us as evil and dark. He is the same as a christian who would be found with his bible and other christian materials or muslim with his Quran and other islamic materials but because he is a traditionalist some persons have already tagged him evil. |
TO THE YOUNG LOVERS AT HEART She said to me; don't move too fast you might skip a beat, love is a moment by moment phenomenon, don't promise to love me tomorrow promise me just today and every other today that comes after today. Don't kiss and tell, it will ruin the moment, for love is a treasure hidden in the heart of a far away island whose location is known to just a chosen few. She said to me; promise to love me with your flaws and i will promise to love you with my scars for love is sometimes a talking drum paired with a violin, though rarely seen, it can produce music so sweet that you can literally taste it on your tongue. don't hide the pains, i may not end the tears but i will share the moment, don't be ashame of your smile, the gap between your centre teeth serve as a gateway to a world of amazing memories. It's okay to get angry, she said, to feel the flame quench while you watch helplessly, for every great thing must come to an end and love the greatest of all sometimes die, but it's not okay to give up without a fight, to say goodbye without a single word said, for love, she said; can sometimes be resurrected by the smallest of spark. |
WHEN I DIE(A POEM ON REINCARNATION) When i die, i will not be food to earthworms and cankerworms, buried six feet beneath my first love, waiting for my suit to turn dust, my soul sent to oblivion and all that is left is the stone placed above my head; Father Husband Brother Son passed on to the great beyond, they say death is the end of every man, that it brings with it freedom from earth weight and heavy burden placed not only on me but on everybody but i am not my body; i am a soul in a body, a manifestation of the creator, an unwinding path in a thorn filled world, so, when i pass, passed on to a greater light, i will revel in all glory and splendour, shine brighter than the firmament and i will take my place in the night sky, amongst them who are called Gods will i take my place; where eternity is for all and time is but an illusion. I will not be stuck in the illusion of heaven and hell; man made fictions, created to further increase the fraction among us; brothers against brothers sisters against sisters mothers against son fathers against daughters, all for the entertainment of our defined Gods who watch in excitement as we battle against each other beliefs all for a chance of eternal bliss in a glory hole, No! I will journey to the spirit realm; where purity is at its peak and my maker awaits but if imperfections is found in me, i will put on a new suit, make my way to the path of the light until perfection is one with me. |
hopefulLandlord:Ok, thank you sir. |
hopefulLandlord:Please, what do they call one that does not believe in religion but believes in god? |
IKORODU Her once beautiful smile have been replaced with anguish, Death sniffing every part of her, Her streets are drowning in tears her eyes are void of love, And you can tell from afar that the makeups are just layers to hide her scars. But She wasn't always cold as night, She was the diamond in the crown, Sparkled like a wealthy woman's neck And her arms were open to men from all regions, A mother loved by her children and envied by her mates, But she has lost her spark, Her dark side has come alive, Don't walk her path in the dead of the night, Don't lock your hair, Don't tatoo your skin with her glorious past, Or else you will be lynched by the mob, Whose cries have fallen into deaf ears, Her streets are now jungles and you will face the justice of the jungle, Their trials are faster than lightening speed, There will be no fair trial, Life has stop been fair to them. nathpope:Lol.. See them, anyways, badbelle is allowed. Happy new month oga mi |
Pheals:Nah, you are beautiful and your eyes are like 2 crystal balls that shows the future |
luvmijeje:I believe every man has within him the life force of God but its all about been conscious of such life. You know, you are the first christain I have met on nairaland who did not use insults to drive home her points. We all are entitle to our different opinions, there will be no need to keep running this rat race. Enjoy your night My Lady |
luvmijeje:Ma, if man had the God-consciousness before the fall, he wouldn't have eating from the tree of knowledge because been God-conscious comes with the knowledge to tell good from bad. I also disagree with you ma about man eating from the tree of life before his supposed fall because a single taste would have made him immortal which was wat the gods never wanted. Anyways, I really appreciate you for taking out some minutes out of your busy schedule to reply to my posts, I have learnt a few things, I'm grateful |
luvmijeje:Ma, from your reply above concerning God sending man away because he has become of them simply means God never created man to be awaken to the God-conciousness but to be ignorant of his true nature which is the God life. Perhaps, that is why some christain sects believe the serpent came to set man free from yahweh |
luvmijeje:With all due respect ma, how was man suppose to know eating the fruit would be bad when he had no knowledge of good and evil before then? |
Zandha:Pls do share.. Ufuomaererobe@gmail.com |

BEAUTIFUL IMPERFECTION Take off the layers and see me, wounded, broken and bruised Take off the make up, can you handle me? tough, cold, rough, don't be scared, its still me, gentle, humble and meek. Take off my garments, would you still love me? imperfect, childish, freak. Behind the light is the dark, the part of me that is all of me. Behind the laughter are the tears, hidden to conceal your fears. Take off the layers and see me, beautiful imperfection.. Your reviews are needed. Thanks |

Rage on the front page, war against those who refuse to call us brothers, what have we turned into? Our fathers never fought for us to end this way. Injustice! Thriving at its pinacle, our conscience are been sold for a nickle and for a plate of pottage, we have mortgage the futures of generation unborn. Corruption is the new gospel, stealing ain't sinning, we all should go on a looting spree, build houses and mansions, store up earthly wealth, but our daughters in the north are dejected, child marriages are been projected. Hypocrisy is the order of the day, slowpoke lawmakers are the heroes of our day. Scavengers, avengers, revenging their kinsmen while everyone fight to be the king's man. So much anger in the air, i need to hold my breath, scars all over her she can't feel herself, her eyes are void of love, streets soaked in blood, nothing seems to make sense, Tales of a wounded Nation. |
