We miss this cerebral intelligent man. Chai |
That's a right call from the former military ruler |
I have so much respect for Laolu Akande. He's brilliant, experienced and competent. Among the aides working in the presidency he's my favorite. Working with the best VP in our history for eight years indeed is a matter of honor. |
Reno is known for dubiety and fraud. Is there anyone still taking him serious. A person with dubious character can't be trusted with whatever he says. |
I love the language used here by the VP. For every action there must be consequences. The oil revenue of this country has depleted woefully as a result of the activities of those responsible for the sabotage. I am 100 percent with Osinbajo on this |
The actions and inactions of Osinbajo towards the APC contentious MM ticket is glaring. He has condemned it and that's why he didn't make their presidential campaign list... Can someone tell me when he publicly or subtly campaigned for Tinubu? The answer is NO. |
Where is the lie here. I support the assertions made by the VP. It's time we put a stop to endless and illegal flow of funds during election. The cashless policy has come to stay |
This man, Osinbajo seems to know virtually everything. I wonder why APC rigged him out at the primary. This is a national loss |
Osinbajo is spot on here. The agents of development may never win the fight against rent collectors in Nigeria if the elites keep mum and unperturbed. They must rise up to the occasion. |
I have always known that Osinbajo can't be in that rally. I don't see him supporting Tinubu becos of his contentious MM ticket. He's a man of integrity. |
He's truly a different breed of politician with so much brilliance and integrity. He's the best Nigerian president we never had. |
Mike Bamiloye is spot on here. Some bowed down for mammon while others bow down for the forces of hell. Osinbajo stood his ground and never his belief was never in doubt. He's my hero |
The story of Kunle Adeyanju is an inspiring one we should all tell the incoming generation. He has made the country proud with such daring adventure. The VP is also part of Adeyanju success story. He copied the VP's hand symbol during the 2019 elections. |
Star boy is in Ghana. Keep representing us well VP Osinbajo at the ECOWAS SUMMIT |
The Nassarawa state governor's support for Osinbajo 2023 presidency was great and unalloyed. He stood with Prof all through, this explains why the VP graced the occasion. Congratulations to the newest couple. |
Tinubu can't be Buhari's successor, Tinubu bribed his way into getting the ticket. Tinubu only emerged becos Buhari failed to nominate Osinbajo as his unnamed successor due to some mysterious reasons best known to him. Osinbajo remains the best bet of the APC. He's the most sellable candidate in the ranks of the party. |
Splattered all over the history of humankind, right from the very beginning of creation to this day, we’ve heard unbelievable stories of missed opportunities and misplaced priorities. It is as if insensitivity to the available opportunities isn’t enough to contend with. Perhaps that is just the way it is meant to be so as to make the world go round, otherwise, what kind of world would we have had if opportunities are never lost so that someone else could get them and others spend a lifetime with the regret? Osinbajo remains the best miss for the country. I hope we get him back |
Where is the lie here? Osinbajo is spot on. Nigeria needs servant leadership in various positions in governance. The absence of true and purposefully leadership is the bane of our problems as a struggling nation. |
The political milieu in this present-day Nigeria is highly sensitive. It cannot withstand the idea of any political party presenting a presidential ticket that has two members of the same faith for Nigerians in 2023 general election. It will be considerate and politically wise for any political party that wants to have the votes of the people to ditch the idea of a single-religion ticket for both presidential and vice-presidential candidates. I am 100 percent in support of Osinbajo on this. Muslim Muslim ticket is dead on arrival |
This is a well thoughtful piece. Osinbajo continues to give hope to Nigerians despite the primary election defeat. We will wait for the moment he will present himself to Nigeria again |
The APC lost it yet again for gifting its ticket to someone who is visibly unwell and healthy. Osinbajo would have been a perfect fit. It is no wonder that as the convention finished that Buhari is being described as the lame duck president. |
Your entry into the race really gave hope to millions of youths who have long been thirsty of a new breed of leaders in government. It's unfortunate we don't value honour, integrity and competence. Nigeria has missed a golden opportunity. Osinbajo comes once in a generation |
I love this creativity behind the burning ice cream issue. I hope Shettima sees this. "Serve us your leadership ice cream like vanilla of security" Very apt |
APC held the ace for the ruling party in 2015 and 2019 polls, so it is only plausible to micro zone the presidency to the South West. Osinbajo is best from the region |
The coast is getting clearer. This is the commissioning of a campaign office, it is a pointer that Osinbajo is the annoited candidate. We are eagerly waiting |
Asiwaju Tinubu is one of the country's overrated politicians. He has lost his mystique and his ambition of becoming the Nigeria's president in 2023 is already becoming an embarrassment. It's a shame |
This is sad. If Tinubu does not become the president, will heaven fall? Nigeria is not Lagos State that is a private estate of Tinubu and his Co travelers and insurance agents. What happen to Prof yemi Osibanjo and Prof Zulum's join ticket? When he became the acting president, things began to take shapes. He is a man of impeccable timing, endowed with wisdom and peculiar in circumstances of life. Prof Osibanjo should take the shot at the presidency. |
The game is over. Osinbajo is the winner at the convention in all indices. Either through consensus or direct primary, Osinbajo will be the winner. |
The coast is clear. The best man among of us should emerge the president. Osinbajo is the best of them all. The only person who has been the president when he acted on three occasions. Nigerians believe he did excellently well. |
I hope the lady get Justice for this unfortunate savagery. Thank you Mr vice president for condemning the vicious act. Those bloodthirsty beasts should be brought to book. |
History is made today as the VP, people's choice picks up his nomination form at the APC Hrq today. PYO is our next president |
This is a very good write up. Osinbajo has succeeded in establishing different polices that are masses oriented and beneficial to the general public. He's also the brain box behind most of the successful populists' programmes and policies of the Buhari administration. His presidency will be the one we have never seen before. |
