This trend has been quiet lately, I got my document qualified on the 19th of August, waiting for interview letter.
For medicals, Q life has increased their charges, does anyone have an idea of the other hospital charges?

All documents for I and my siblings (4 of us) have been submitted and accepted but only one of us received an email confirming that she is documantarily qualified.

Please confirm if the email applies to the 4 of us.

If you were all filed for together under one application, then yes, but if you have individual application, the other will get their own document qualified.

Please who has been to the embassy lately, the extra money one is to pay for a successful visa, is it to be carried for the interview? Or is it at the point of collection of passport? Please help.

You are to go with it, #40,700, once you are approved, you will have to pay the money immediately at the embassy.

Then she said I will go ahead and approve your visa. ���� She said they will text me when the visa is ready for pick up. Does anyone know know how many days? And do I have to call DHL or embassy to check if it’s ready

@Wilsub.. am fine dear, I havnt gotten case complete yet oo, infact it's really frustrating. All our documents has been accepted, my petitioner documents has also been accepted, joint sponsors documents has been accepted too but then nvc demanded for one last thing my petitioner household member's documents. We got the documents but then made the mistake of not submitting it all in one package, hence the delay. We havnt gotten any response and it's 3 weeks. Am looking at putting a call to them tomorrow to ask for an update on my case, I hope dat helps..

It's good you are putting a call through to them, now I know how you feel, my marriage certificate wasn't accepted, said they can't open it, I had to rescan, they also requested for my co sponsor proof of employment. All other documents has been accepted.
I pray we get a response soon.

You need the following documents; Sworn Affidavit of Declaration of age, 2 passport photographs.

The sworn affidavit should be from high court.

i will like to find out,if the american embassy accept sworn affidavit for declaration of age.my wife lost her birth certificate and we need to upload the document urgently.

Nvc rejected the sworn affidavit we upload for my husband, we had to upload the attestation of age we got from NPC

Read through the thread from behinning and i must say its been very enlightinging.. we have a perculiar case and am hoping someone has had a similar case and was able to resolve it successfully. My dad bro filed f4 for him back in 2006. We just got notification that the case has been approved and at NVC. However the Hiccup is that the date of birth the petitioner filed when filing the petition is different from my dads actual date of birth which he has on his passport and has been issued B1/B2 visa twice on it. I would appreciate input from the seniors of the house. @pretty16 @oladeep @ifunanyamaka @lindsy4real

My mom had same issue when my sister filled for her, they had to notify NVC, it wasn't changed until she went for her interview, she was asked to pay for the change, since the mistake was from my sister.

Your petitioner will download the I-864 form from the USCIS website and fill the part 1 and check the part 1a and then complete the other parts of the same form.

Your Co-sponsor will also download the I-864 form from the USCIS website and then fill the part 1 but will check either the part 1(1d or 1e) either of which he/she is representing as a Co-sponsor and then also complete the other parts of the same form.

There are multiple AOS forms it just depends on the petitioner's situation in respect to meeting the poverty guideline income.

My petitioner said he doesn't know which of the AOS to fill, I also have a co sponsor. We r a family of 5.

Can't really say cos my sister made the payment for me with her bank details.

I answered yes, since I know I will be doing my medicals before the interview, but I stand to be corrected.

It took 3days before the payment was effected, just be patient.

Yes am not done will the filling of the form, made payment and waiting for the receipt, hopefully bfore the month end I should have submitted all documents.

You can pay online through designated bank account. No use of debit/ credit card.

I just want to be on the safe side if its okay without consequences to tick No or Yes

I think this is for where you will stay when you arrive, and also where they can send your document to. It's better you click yes and give the address of where you intend to stay, before settling down.

Yes you can send their passport data page, birth certificate and your marriage certificate, if you have changed your name also inform them. When you get your welcome letter all their names would have been updated.

Hi guys. Please I need help with directions on getting to DHL collection office to pick up my visa. So Uber doesn't seem to recognise the address and since I do not reside in Lagos, I don't know how to get there from VGC estate. Those who have picked up their visas please how do I get there? Preferably using Uber or Taxify. Do I need to put in a different address or something?

Tell the uber driver to use Google Map.
