During the slave trade some of these communitys were raided by their neighbours and so grouping them together after colonizaton is not as straightforward as you imagine. The idea that there was one happy "Yoruba" family before colonization is pure fiction. Such groupings had a lot of undertones beyond mere proximity.

You didn't get my point. What I am saying is that, by land Ode-Omi to Ise in Epe division is not more than 10 minutes on a good road. Whereas there is no link between Ode-Omi and other communities in Ogun by land. The closest community is Makun and there is a long stretch of lagoon separating the two towns. So, Ode- Omi ought to have been in Epe division. May be that is why Lagos is disputing the fact that the community belongs to it.

Ogun is a coastal state. Ode-Omi which happens to be my community is d coastal gateway to Ogun state. It shares boundary with Lekki LGA and Ilaje, I hope that helps.
