It was God that saved me today! I happened to be passing through Ungwar Sarki area around 1.45pm this afternoon moving to Kano when suddenly i saw some almajiris and some local area boys running from the Mosque area so i quickly made a u-turn until i saw a truck of military men trying to disperse  the crowd, i could not ascertain immediately what was happening, when i discovered that cars were still allowed passage under Folawiyo bridge so i  had to accelerate and move fast through the already crowded place. It was after i left that i was informed that some locally made explosives detonated and killed a police man. By the grace of God i arrived safely in Kano.

ASAP i shall find my way to Abuja and stay there until the smoke clears. I am optimistic that Boko has come to Kano and it will end in Kano, remember maitatsine in the 80s.

All luxuries has evacuated there general park(New Road Park) in Kano due to home made bomb blast that injured three passengers. Police, Army and  Air force has blocked all the roads leading to the park now so as to do away with the other yet to explode object.

It's true,i just confirmed it now.I was on Murtala Mohammed way when i received a call to inform me not to pass through Ibo Road by New Road in Sabon- Gari area.When i remember how i was saved from been a victim of bomb blast last Friday by 5.30pm(local time) I had to make a detour and come back to the house via Tarauni this afternoon.I had just left office not quite 20mins when those guys struck on Independence Road/Dakata Road and Club road. I had just passed  the area when i heard the 1st bomb exploded from a distance of about 300metres and this continued for about 4hours with severe gun battle between the military men versus the Boko boys all aged between 18-25years. To me i believe God just  spared my life that fateful day and i'm most grateful unto God who has been my Shepherd.
