It can be continued provided the money are not used for throwing government social parties
What can I say to convince you that creation of jobs, good economy management and a friendly environment for business to thrive is better than the meagre, peanut N5000 MONTHLY huh
I give up!

That is what you are interested in. Why not visit some local governments in Nigeria and see some people who cannot even feed not to talk of sending their kids to school. Mind you, those kids are between age 2-6 years. All you want is for the mid class to be rich and the poor remain poor.
grin grin grin your argument really got me cracking.
creating of jobs and a friendly environment is a win win situation. An employee take home will even be more.
In today's market what can N5000 solve.
This is not helping the poor, it is enslaving the poor.
Don't give them fish teach them how to fish.
Government already have a lot on their plate for how long will these people continue to depend on them huh
Business › Re: Photos From Giwa Farmers Market In Kaduna Prove Nigeria Is blessed In Agric by Wiseandtrue(f): 12:45pm On Jan 07, 2017
elhafeez:
Today i went to Giwa market in Giwa local government of Kaduna state to purchase food stuff. I was impressed and proud of Nigerian farmers. They truly had à bumper harvest. you would find thousand of bags of different produce from maize, millet, rice, soya beans. The sad side of thé story is the price of these products are on thé high side. They keep increasing every week.
A bag of maize goes for 13,000 last month it was 11,000
A bag of maize for pop corn is sold for 15,000
Beans prices range from 19,000 - 23,000 à bag
Soghourm goes for 16,000 Per bag
millet goes for 12,800

Finally i Wonder why the prices of thèse product keep increasing even with thé large supply of thèse products available. It's seems like the forces of demand and supply dont work in Nigerian market.

What about those that does not have TF to go job interviews.
I want to assume that the recipient also base in Lagos.
Is N5000 even enough for transportation before the said salary huh Not to talk of feeding huh
Like I said creation of jobs and a friendly environment for business to thrive is much more better.

Is it just me but it's as if the present government deliberately ran the Nigerian economy to the ground and increased the hunger level before commencing the 5k payment so they'll receive accolades for being sensitive to the plight of the common man.

Anyways..
My brother the money is not even enough for the elderly. He should create jobs and make the country friendly for entrepreneurs then we can take care of ourselves and even our elders.
Nigerians are not lazy.

Naijalabel:
After series of protest by aged pensioners in Imo State.
The imo state government led by Rochas Okorocha had gone ahead to compel pensioners in the state to forfeit 60% of their entitlements and take home only 40%.

Six different categories of pensioners were owed between 22 months and 77 months by the state government.

“Civil pensioners are owed 22 months, local government pensioners 23 months, retired primary school teachers 32 months, IBC pensioners 44 months, retired permanent secretaries 22 months and Alvan Ikoku pensioners 77 months,’’

The government is now using its agents to force pensioners to sign document it prepared, which by extension will make any pensioner that signs the document to forfeit his/her 60 per cent arrears.

See copy of a pensioners letter below.

Sometimes these guys just descend so low to plainly insult their constituents all in the name of playing politics. Just because the people you interacted with refused to be fooled by your media propaganda, u term them ignorant and brand 70% of them as not listening to radio / reading newspapers, yet in the same line and under the same breath you allege that churches are misinforming the people through the pages of newspapers, abeg is it the same media you just claimed 70% of imolites are ignorant of? Stupid statement from a political jobber. Your type wouldn't mind insulting your family on air so long as it puts food on your table

Whatever his intentions may be...
Don't mind him. This is someone who visited a village under Abia State then to campaign. One of his promises if voted for was to make provisions for electricity as at today I learnt that the village is still in darkness while they (villagers) kept to the end of the bargain.
Shame on whoever choose or votes for him no matter the office he is vying for. Shame.
