Hi hugman. ....don't get me wrong..I just came back from work and scrolled up and down of the whole station's not even one....I repeat not even one showed..I was only trying to find out if the issues here is only peculiar to me alone. I think I made a great mistake of selling my Q11+ and went for this Q28g Cos you suggested it. But like I said I was only trying to find out if am the only one so that I would not what next to do. METHODS TO UPGRADE QSAT FIRMWARE

UPGRADE OF FIRMWARE IN QSAT RECEIVER

1.Remove sim card b4 upgrading

2. is wise to use generator because any blackout in power supply render your iks qsat receiver dead on the spot

3.download precise firmware of the receiver into USB flash drive file usually end in .bin

4. insert USB flash to your iks receiver
on remote control
click menu button -
click upgrade
click USB/card upgrade
select the precise qsat firmware and click to start upgrading
after it completed your qsat receiver



BY ANDROID PHONE

HOW TO USE ANDRIOD PHONE TO UPGRADE FIRMWARE
IN QSAT RECEIVER
it safe to upgrade qsat firnware with andriod phone first
scan ur andriod phone with active anti virus to ensure that
there is no virus on the phone and on the sdcard
pls use fresh sdcard for easy identification and no
problem in the process of upgrading and ensure your
andriod phone is properly charge and stable battery
1.Remove sim card b4 upgrading

andriod phone on sd card , file usually end in .bin
4.after downloading the qsat firware connect USB from ur
andriod phone to your qsat receiver
on remote control
click menu button -
click upgrade
click USB/card upgrade
select the precise qsat firmware and click to start
upgrading
after it completed your qsat receiver will reboot itself
5. now goto menu-setting-xcam-acamhd change active
to on
6. goto setting -ethernet config and click and change to
gprs goto to config and select ur sim network.
your qsat now working with the new firmware perfectly

I noticed for the upgrade you only stated for the rest model of qsat. But Qsat 28G Is not among the software u listed. Pls how can I get the link to download the new software for upgrade. Or if I use the one for 26G will it work.

TRUTH REASONS WHY QSAT IS ALIVE

you probably notice that all other iks services are dead but qsat remain, first thing I want you to know is that remember when qsat was introduced in 2013 the fact is, the weakness or dead of others iks services is the strength of qsat i. e when others iks are down qsat remain stand no shaking

Secondly qsat q28g enable qsat to be even more active remember qsat is two company in one the manufacture side is the major reasons qsat will do all it can to stay alive to promote the sales of qsat q28g combo dvdt2 and dvds2 all in one receiver

Go for qsat q28g

While those using qsat q26g should be patience the server still under maintenence
