Sometime last week, i woke up quite early so i decided to do some research on something i came across the precious day that is the second law of thermodynamics i discovered that there are energy that are bad useless and hazardous to man.
entropy
strictly thermodynamic entropy. A measure of the amount of energy in a physical system that cannot be used to do work.

A measure of the disorder present in a system.

(uncountable) The tendency of a system that is left to itself to descend into chaos.

If there is one thing i iearnt from the study it was

A preacher said : Prayer is not a means to change the will of God, it is communion with God such that he will change you, to have the ability to receive what it is that he has for you.Luke 22;42(jesus prayer) Contrary to popular belief that prayer is a means of asking from God, it is also a means of hearing from God.
D difference between a praying Christian and a quiet one is that as a prayimg Christian, your faith in God will carry you but if you are other wise yoi will be carrying your faith and you'll get exhausted carrying the infinite at the same time study the word (which is more important, praying or reading the Bible? (breathing in or breathing out?)

Standing in front of my mirror, looking at my cute face and feeling myself, like a little whisper came to these three words *WHO ARE YOU?* for a moment the only answer that clouded my head was my name, and then I could add my academic qualifications, and even future ambitions, then it dawned on me that I actually do not know who I was up until that moment, the identity I have held on to as mine has been what the society has painted out for me. This newfound knowledge prompted my journey to self-discovery.

Funny how many people go around feeling like they have a grasp of who they are, and the reason for their existence, when in the actual fact, we are just living in the moment and following the pattern that the world or some group of persons(family, religion, peer group amongst others) had set for us. hence the struggle to fit in, which is a major cause of anxiety that leads to depression.
When an individual doesn't have a personal identity, such individual will get swayed, confused, frustrated, and easily manipulated. knowing who you are is like having a pointer to one's destination on a map, it makes the journey a lot faster and less complicated.

the need for self-discovery is a very important topic that should be treated with all urgency as it is the bedrock of finding fulfilment in all spheres of life.

*Thoughts*
According to an article published by the University of Minnesota, Thoughts are mental cognition, our ideas, opinions, and beliefs about ourselves and the world around us. They include the perspectives we bring to any situation or experience that colour our point of view. They are a vital part responsible for our formation, little wonder the Bible says as a man thinketh in his heart so he is. The thought goes a long way in shaping the future as it affects the decision-making process and the rise or fall of a man is dependent on the choice of decisions made, so to understand who you are then you have to look within yourself for what makes up your thoughts
Views and ideology: how we see life goes a long way to tell who we are, our experiences in life also form the basis of decision making, our value system and that of the people we relate with is also one of the things that contribute to forming us because the decision is made based on them.

*Purpose and destiny*
for every invention, electronic gadgets especially, there is always an instructional manual that clearly spells out what a gadget does in terms of purpose, functions, condition to operate under, requirements among other things. likewise, as humans, our creator “God” holds our user manual in his hands that's why he said
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations. Jer 1:5.
God has a plan for everyone on the planet earth and nothing happens without his consent, so anyone who truly wants to find themself should find him first, because when you find him, then you can know his thoughts concerning you and the very reason for your existence.
Through it all I discovered that who I am is not a function of what I have, where I come from, but rather what my thoughts are and the plans of the one who created me, so to truly know who I am, I need to first find God for only him can truly give answers to this question and bring peace to me.

What is love?

I wouldn’t try to define this sacred word as I will be shooting myself in the foot as there is no specific definition as to what love is but I will describe love from others and then my point of view.

Growing up I have held on to this concept of love as an act of endless forgiveness, tenderness of heart that forms a habit. From this, I was able to carve out my piece on love. I say that love is a conscious

effort of staying committed to something or someone as the case may be.



Misconceptions

Let’s take a look at a few misconceptions about love.



Love is blind – many people believe in the phrase love is blind as a way of consoling themselves when they do the wrong thing claiming it was done because of love, but I stand to tell you that love is very conscious because it takes a conscious person to be in love, love is a deliberate action, it is about seeing people for who they are and what they can be, it is about acknowledging imperfections and choosing not to get distracted by them.



Loving someone means never letting go: undeniably love is about sacrifice, but it doesn’t mean sticking with someone even when it is toxic, some people even feel they can still salvage something out of the relationship because of their input in the relationship which will go to waste. Note that you never have to stop caring about someone, but sometimes for one’s safety and sanity, it is important to step away.



True love knows no bound: often some people try to leverage this concept to extort the ones they claim to love, you will hear words like; if you know you love me you’ll do this, you’ll let me do that, do this for me to prove that you love me. Loving someone doesn’t mean doing all of their biddings, one of the most difficult expression of love is the ability to say NO.



Love is giving and receiving (50/50): while it is true that love often breeds love in return, the first person to have ever loved (GOD) did that even when the ones he loved knew about his existence as such only waited patiently for his love to be realized and reciprocated, so expecting a pre-calculated response In return for every gesture of affection shown is unrealistic. Worse still, it makes both parties involved feel like their love is either overexpressed or under-expressed.



When you say I love you, what should it mean?

First off, the word Love is an action word, so when you are saying you love someone it has to be clear that you do as you have to act out.A preacher once said and I quote that “there are four elements that should be present before it can be called love”

Pursuit
Sacrifice
Pleasure
Commitment



Pursuit: according to the meaning of the word, you have to chase after the one you claim you love.



Sacrifice: When you love someone you should be willing to give up some things for the sake of the person, be it your time, habits amongst others. Love is about reaching a compromise.



Pleasure: love is not a strictly business thing, you should enjoy loving someone, being with them, or seeing them should be able to brighten your mood, lift your spirit, ease your tension and ultimately give you comfort.



Commitment: when you love someone, you are being bound emotionally/intellectually to them, such that. Whenever the word love pops up either from you (the lover) or to you (the lovee ), do a scan
through for these four elements.


Final words

Before you can truly love someone, you have to first understand the origin of love(God), then you will love yourself, as you cannot give what you don’t have.
