The rumours regarding the source of his father's wealth and death remain unawnsered.

Obi keeps bringing up his late father's wealth as the source of his wealth claiming he inherited millions of dollars from his dad after he died.

There is also the rumours of Obi's father having been murdered by a rival drug cartel over shortchanging them and that the corpse was dumped in the river Niger with the funeral and burial carried out without a corpse.

Then there are rumours of Obi's inlaw doing hard time in the US for peddling drugs.
