If you have any great idea you think you want to have coded, you can still drop it here and I'll try, but I must remind us that ideas are great when they're still on your chart, they become something else when you code them for hands-free dealing. As far as EA coding is concerned, trend is almost dead

Itohen: An enormous iron Ore has been found in Agbaja, Kogi State by an Energio Limited An Australian Company.
In a confirmatory statement, the company said it has discovered about 488 million tons, with an In-situ Iron grade of 42.7 per cent. The Ore will largely affect the Nigerian economy, especially everything that has to do with Iron, both usage and export.

Iron Ore currently trades on the international market for around $100.
 
According to the company, the Ore is about 13.9km2 and 9km2 represents about 15 percent of the potential areas as well as 9.2 per cent of the company’s 151km landholding for Iron, which is the first JORC Iron Ore discovered in the Country.
 
The Company however, named June 2013 as the date for update on the resources, a clinical geological survey will be done, and they believe the company would have known everything it needs to know about the entire resource potentials.
 
The current JORC resources approximation allows the admission of project development studies for the Iron Ore production project following feasibility studies.
Energio further complimented the discovery and location of the Ore, adding that the Ore is uniquely located, in a shallow flat channel, which will give room for the development and utilization of the abandoned rail lines there.
Dr. Ian Burston, the Chairman of Energio Limited in a statement noted that the discovery of the Ore is a wonderful result for the country, considering the fact that the company began drilling at the site only Last year November.

Toks2008: many traders place stop loss indiscriminately and when stopped out, they blame brokers for hunting their stop

The coders of mt4/mt5 have done it in such a way that random moves will always take place and this is why swing trading is very ideal.

Its like taking a flight from Nigeria(supp level) to new york(res level),along the way, the pilot might be forced to divert and make a stop over ue to storms and unforeseen circumstances(reversal and retracement points) but will hardly return back to Nigeria(supp level or oversold level) at lest 80% certain that it will get to New york.(res level or overbought level)

This is just how swing trading works

Any crazy reversal points can come up if you are buying a pair from the oversold region to overbought region or vis avis.

These reversal points are sometimes very strong that it will cause a strong retracement but most times will not break the strong supp of the over sold region and your stop loss should be placed below this supp.

Ability to identify vivid supp and res levels is what traders should learn and stop blaming brokers when they get their unrealistic stop loss hit.

Slept like a dead horse lastnight and missed the bull run on Gold (till 1780) at the open of the market.

Didn't trade today, anyways. Always advisable to stay off the market at the end of each quarter as today ends the 3rd quarter.

I do more of hands free than manual cos sometimes i may nt get 2 my system in a day. @aguiyi... me think i will add the trailing stop codes into your own EA, it will trail by 1 pip and it will lock in a specified number of pips.

WHAT I AM SAYING IS THAT YOU SHOULD CODE YOUR OWN MANUAL METHOD IF YOU CAN'T TRADE IT MANUALLY DUE TO INDISCIPLINE. very plain English.

But if you have no trusted trading method and you want to trade forex at all cost then use another good EA to trade only if you understand the principle on which it operates.

I have also come to understand that many traders use crazy lot to trade using EAs hence they lose their equity in a flash.

EAs are like machines, with constant use they wear off.

Full-time traders should not use EA's. Once you have the abundance mentality that the market is always there for u to spot opportunities and you possess enough internal security to choose ur lot, u don't need it. Let's not try to be philosophical so as to ascribe profundity to the ordinary trader here.

Part-time trader MAY use it if they have the fundamental knowledge of how Forex works and how it reacts to market conditions.

But unfortunately 98% of traders will still never make it trading forex. This is a fact.

The brokers are just feeding large on our foolishness. They give us crazy leverage options knowing that this is the main factor many traders lose.

If the maximum leverahge happens to be 1:1 then i guess many of us will succeed in this business because your greed will not even come to play when you know that you can only trade with 100usd as though you have just 100usd but with the crazy leverage that allows us to trade with 10usd as though we have 1000usd(lverage 1:100) believe me, greed will never leave us no matter how hard we try.

GREED IS THE MAIN DEMON BEHIND THIS BUSINESS.

I believe the only way to overcome greed is by getting even more greedy then you lose all your fortune to fx trading getting broke and frustrated. Then maybe if you have another chance, you will learn but do we ever learn?

As for me, i repeat again and again, the only way is to automate my trades and live my life.

And if you are adarmant on trading manually,please wait for your right configuration to come up. then place your trades with tp and sl and walk away. Gazing at the charts will always want to make you do something nasty.
