Addressing the issue, i think what lagos state govt would have done was to protect the properties of the traders even if they wanted the market to go down. Please Ohaneze it was not just the igbos that were affected.

I laugh when some people talk about Biafra. I've lived in the east for a good number of years. Those guys fight each other over anything and everything down to church level. You won't understand the fierce battle between catholics and Anglicans until to reside in the east, they don't tolerate each other at all and one begins to wonder if it's only in that part of the country that you have these two churches
