We pay Tithe to God not to a pastor. Pastor is more like a Levi who received the tithe but it is God's own.

Prayers are channelled to God. When you are born again you have direct access to God because you automatically become a son of God. You pray to God directly. Tithe is used to run the activities and the welfare of the church. Some pastors expecially the once you guys accused of using tithe to enrich their selves do not spend tithe. They don't personalize Tithe. There are some big churches whose operations cost per service is over 1m to 2m not to talk of payment of church staffs, charity and members welfare.

From experience I have realized those having issues with Tithe are the very greedy ones. Those criticizing and judging men of God are even big sinners not even worthy to even talk against anointed men of God.
