I believe submission from the woman is very important in a marriage. The idea of gender equality is not exactly realistic in the African society and I beseech every lady that was brought up in a home by both parents to practice submission as that was the price their mothers paid to make sure they had a father figure in their life because, if the mothers wanted equality the home would have been broken.

I think em is just being himself for every silly diss song he has if also has some cool reasonable songs as well, so u can't judge him just cos if dissed MC on a track. Cos there are alot of other reasonable songs on his album. For all of u that said his career is dead i disagree cos if it was u wont be so interested in talkin about him in the first place. And all u lil wayne fans its on record that he has been dying to sing with em. And just cos he sold a few million copies u forget that em used to sell multi plat in a week beside he still has the 2nd place for highest record sales of rap records

I think the MEND group are just a big joke, causing unnecessary commotion, in as much as the Government is not doing as much as it should for the Niger Delta people, but they are not even getting value for the little the government has tried to do.

We all know very well the case of Alamyesia (pardon the spelling) and James Ibori these are former governors who have stolen billions of naira meant for the niger delta people, how can these men be enjoying and walking around freely and the group MEND will claim to be fighting for their rights.  

If you are form Delta and you dont have water, good roads, schools, hospitals its because James Ibori stole the money for the 8 yrs he was governor, same goes for Bayelsa and the others these governors are your primary enemies not Shell, Chevron or the Federal Government . If i hear one of these governors mansions were blown with Bomb or one of their kid was kidnapped and ransom was paid then i will know that MEND are really fighting a good course.

I got the results from the above website. There are 3 missing awards for Artiste of the Year, Recording of the Year and the (non-Nigerian) African artiste of the year. Anyone that knows the winners should please post them.

Well, it confirms what I suspected. M.I and 9ice were the biggest winners, however Modenine was still recognised as the best lyricist. Despite everything written on Nairaland the awards were given to IMHO people that deserved it. Congrats to all the winners. Please post your opinions and who you think should have won a particular award and why.

9ice won the award for Artiste of the year, Etcetra's mitchell won the recording of the year.
They did not issue the award for the African Artiste of the year.

Not that girl is definitely a great song and even Dare's performance at the show was world class.
I think Banky W's vocal dexterity was really top notch on Don't Break my heart.

But overall did u even vote for Dare? Many people complain about who wins what yet when they are asked to vote they don't.

I think you should go for masters since ur popsy is willing to pay for it because if u miss this opportunity it might never come again, once u start working if u want to do masters u will have to pay for it urself, i am also considering going for masters in the UK and i know the cost will be btw 4.5 - 5millon naira so if ur dad is ready to pay, i see no reason why u should say no, besides with the whole credit crunch thing i think getting additional qualification could be a plus and when u finish next yr the world economy would have started picking up,

Make no mistake think about how many months u have to do that contract job of urs before u can afford to pay for the masters urself.
