Jobs/Vacancies / Re: House Of Representatives Pass A Resolution Abolishing Second Class Lower (2.2) As Minimum For Gradua by wondern(m): 11:46am On Mar 22, 2010
I dont know when our leader would desist from attaching more importance to paper rather than the skill a candidate possesses. Certificate would not lead us anywhere. It is skill with enabling environment that would give a desirable result. Even in universities, students gained admision with several distinctions but turn out to be slowpoke.

We need a serious electoral reform that would allow us elect right-thinking people into house who would know their right form left
Programming / Re: Help On Database Management System For A Hospital : Urgent by wondern(m): 11:37am On Mar 22, 2010
The RDBMS you would use for a hospital is dependent on kind of information the hospital wants to keep, the size of the hospital, average volume of data per day on her legacy system or estimated data volume among other questions. You would definitely need expert advice so that the medical package would not run into problem in the course of implementation due to limited knowledge of system designer(s). I wish you good luck.

Column position rules

Fortran 77 is not a free-format language, but has a very strict set of rules for how the source code should be formatted. The most important rules are the column position rules:

Col. 1 : Blank, or a "c" or "*" for comments
Col. 1-5 : Statement label (optional)
Col. 6 : Continuation of previous line (optional)
Col. 7-72 : Statements
Col. 73-80: Sequence number (optional, rarely used today)

Most lines in a Fortran 77 program starts with 6 blanks and ends before column 72, i.e. only the statement field is used.

When police is expected to apprehend a criminal and try him in court, they turn themselves to court and killed un-condemned suspect. It is barbaric. I could see govt hand in the killing.
Politics / Re: Poison On Rampage by wondern(m): 5:33pm On Mar 16, 2010
If suya is poisoned and someone bought it, does the seller have control of who would eat it; it
could even be his kinsmen.

Suya sellers have a specific spot/area; few of them hawk. if it happened,it would not take hours before the suya seller is killed.

This rumor is not new but over two months old.
Till date, how many has suya killed in any part of Nigeria?

Islam for Muslims / Re: The Jos Crisis And The Muslim's Position by wondern(m): 4:30pm On Mar 15, 2010
This is addressed to anyone that has faith in day of resurrection.

It is a pity that some souls are generalizing based on misdeed of a few. Is it right for one to condemn Jesus because some end-time pastors abuse the usage of his name? No prophet from Adam till Muhammad is small before God and it is better to weigh our utterances carefully when any matter involves them. Every utterance is recorded and would be played back at time of death to the speaker, whether good or bad and it is part of what would determine the final abode of speaker- Paradise/Hell.

There is no harm in asking to get better understanding of what is not clear.

If claim of some people are right that Islam connotes evil through war, Medina where Prophet lived and died should not know peace let alone Mecca after his death Or are they saying Medina and Mecca people are ignorant of these numerous hadiths quoted on Jihad?

You shall know the truth and it shall set you free.

God's word is like a prism that state of mind of a looker determines what the looker sees.
Sincere and unbiased mind sees better and such person must subdue his will and caprices for the will of God to see and act as God ordered.

In history, we know that Prophet lived peacefully with Christians and Jews, and his high moral standard converted some of them to Islam Not through WAR.

This is just a reminder for whosoever that would listen to take heed; God is not unaware of our actions and would judge among every creature at the right time.
Islam for Muslims / Re: The Jos Crisis And The Muslim's Position by wondern(m): 6:20pm On Mar 12, 2010
Leave Muslim, christian or traditionalist out of this issue so that we can be focused; it is issue of human welfare which affect everybody equally.

Our mutual co-existence in Nigeria is based on fair communal rules (constitution) to accommodate every inhabitant and check the excess of some people in the community and the implementation of the rules are vested in an authority (certain set of people)

Where the authority delays, abandons or handles with favoritism the issue of justice, we shall have re-appraisal over re-appraisal endlessly.
Therefore, govt should act fast with Nigerian constitution; that is the right direction.

No favoritism. No part of Nigeria is immuned from occurrence in Jos; it can happen any where.
Save us, our God.

Before meal

Or

In the name of God, I pray for Your blessing on this meal

After meal
I thank God who gave me what I ate and drank and also make me submissive unto Him
Islam for Muslims / Re: Will the Islamic Heaven be Different? by wondern(m): 6:11pm On Mar 05, 2010
God is just and one. The talk of heaven did not start during Jesus' era but a long time promise to progeny of Adam during the time of Adam himself. That anyone among his children that obey the rules of God would be admitted into
the heaven where Adam first lived.
All the God sent from Adam, Noah, Abraham, David, Solomon, Jacob, Joseph,Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be on them all) to mankind for guidance, submitted to rules of God. And they also commanded their followers to do the same.
The question now is that 'are Christians the true follower of Jesus? Or did Jesus admit he was a Christian?"

Until you are able to get the answer right, the tantalizing effect would continue to give you illusion about the rules of God that admits submissive creature of God into Heaven.
Good luck.

Agriculture / Re: Poultry Farming by wondern(m): 4:30pm On Mar 04, 2010
Poultry business is lucrative and it comes with its own risk.
Make sure the farm is not near residential area, else it may increase the list of evil-wishers  from neighbourhood because of the bad odour of poultry dumps.

First. Make up your mind on type of poultry bird you want to keep among layer, broiler or cockrel.
Should it be cockrel (male birds), they require about 5 months before you can begin to sell. It is advisable to target a festive period like Xmas, etc.
For  broiler, it takes about 2 months.
The last of all is layer which could take almost two years. The beauty of the layer is that after about four/five months, they begin to lay eggs. Sincerely, the details can not be exhausted in this forum.
Therefore, you would need a mentor.
