cenaman:How? The questions are a response to INEC's insistence on the use of simultaneously accreditation/ voting in the 2019 general elections. So answer my questions if you're one of the stake holders |
AS THE BUILD-UP TO THE 2019 GENERAL ELECTIONS BEACONS, THESE SALIENT QUESTIONS BEG FOR ANSWER 1. INEC announced that voter's accreditation will go alongside voting simultaneously. In that case: a. What time will voting terminates? b. If voting is terminating at the customary time (4:00pm), what happens to those who are already on queue waiting to be accredited to vote? c. In an environment where one political party is predominant, won't there be an opportunity for manipulating the process in that: i) Voters who hitherto were not on queue might start coming to the polling booths just before 4:00pm and form another long queue that might force INEC to extend its time through the night which might give room for manipulations/rigging. ii) International observers who must have adjudged the voting process "credible" based on what the see in the day might not be there when voting subsists through the night. d) In an event where voters turn out is initially low, won't it give political desperados a chance for vote buying as they could go around scavenging for votes? In that case: i) Won't it creat a situation where voters start trooping out to vote at the last minutes where voting supposed to end? ii) If that is so, how can the presiding officer (P.O.) at the polling booth control the situation? iii) If the P.O stops voters from entering the queue due to time factor and his life is being threatened, won't it affect the credibility of the process? iv) If for fear of being lynched by thugs, ad-hoc staff at the polling booths allow voting to go deep into the night and manipulations take place, what have we gained? e) How does INEC intends to check individuals who have voted already and then goes back, cleaned the indelible ink applied on his/her fingers, collect someone elses PVC, comes back and vote (since its obvious voting is going to subsists into the night?): i) This is possible since the accreditation of voters would be done simultaneously alongside voting. ii) Would party agents mind about identifying voter's face in the night to see if he's actually the PVC owner or not? iii) In a situation where arguments ensued over the identity of the PVC carrier, won't there be chaos at the polling booths? iv) How about defaced PVCs, will the carriers be allowed to vote? v) Where there's contention between a voter and ad-hoc staff over the use of "tender ballot" what happens then? vi) Since electricity won't be mounted at the polling booths, how does INEC intends to control the activities of politicians if voting runs through the night? MODS: KINDLY HELP ME GET THIS POST TO FRONT PAGE SO I CAN GET ANSWER TO MY QUESTIONS PLEASE |
As the build up to the 2019 Presidential/National Assembly polls draws neigh, we Plateau citizens are about to be disenfranchised. To cut the long story short, a vast majority of us haven't collected our PVCs, not because we don't want to but because of the grand plan by politicians in connivance with INEC to phase us out of our voting rights. First of all, those of us who registered in 2014 were told not to register again because our details were already captured in INEC's database. Some of us applied for relocation from our previous polling unit to a new one in November, 2017. We were promised that our PVCs will be out after six months, that is in May 2018. We went to INEC's office in the scheduled date only for us to be told that the cards being distributed then were for newly registered voters and that ours would be ready in November 2018. We again went in November but they asked us to wait till December. Now December has come and gone and they are now giving us another dateline (20th January, 2019). This is the first case scenario. The second category of those who might be disenfranchised are those who are being attacked by suspected Fulani herdsmen on daily basis. Not only are these people attacked, their houses are being razed and set ablaze after slaughtering them like goats. Those who manage to escape have their PVCs burnt alongside their valuables. The implications is that they too won't participate in the elections. Isn't this act of wickedness? Please we don't have a voice but we believe this platform can help us reach the government and INEC to kindly release our PVCs before it's too late! |
Omoboricash:Calabar was never actually the capital of Nigeria. Calabar during British Empire’s Southern Nigerian protectorate served as administrative headquarters for colonial officials, most of whom were missionaries. So in the real sense of the word, Calabar was never capital of Nigeria since at the time, there wasn't actually a country called Nigeria. The administrative headquarters was eventually moved to Lagos some time in the 1860s. |
Omoboricash:That's simply because it was once a Federal Capital Territory not because of APC |
Nigerians, if you fall for this "next level" fraud again, I bet you our nation would be a case study for a country with the most poorest and foolish people on planet Earth. What we should be crying for is the "previous level". Yes! A previous level where food stuff were cheaper; a level where education was affordable to the poor; that level where exchange rate was much better; a level where you can vett for an elevated quest and nothing stops you. What I mean is that level where dreams are possible; I mean that level where level doesn't matter as long as you've got the guts to level the way people labelled you; the level upon which levels ain't levelled enough to describe the level you've attend; that sure level where jobs awaits you having completed your University education; the level where there is a level playing ground for everyone irrespective of party affiliation; that which employment is based on Merit not on God-fatherism; the one where name of job seeker doesn't matter but what he can deliver; I'm talking about a level where one is elevated beyond one's imagination; that level where ethic and religious bigotry are parched down the doldrums where they rightly belong. Can we ever return to that level?

Who is posting these lies? There's no case of any defector here in Zaria. |
Mynd44:Does association oneself with a political ideology hurt the brand? |
I only have problem when employers judge a job seeker on the basis of his political affiliation rather than the content of his performance both on and off the job. |
What part of the north are you? Stop spreading lies coz here in Kaduna, virtually every discussion rallies on how tired people are with Buhari's government |
My bro, I used the same phone. The first time I bought the phone and update the OX luncher, that's the same result I got. I later discovered that it wasn't a virus but an app recommendation. How to turn it off is 1. Go to the under widget of your phone 2. Check where app recommendation is turn it off and you won't see that on your phone again. You can call me later for Thanksgiving |
Plateau, Nasarawa, Benue, Naija, FCT, Kogi have completely Atikulated their OBIligation come February 2019. |
I bought this phone barely two days ago, believe me the phone is good in all ramifications but then what happened makes me sad like a pregnant woman who after carrying a baby for 9 months, lost it the very day of delivery. It was just yesterday that I subscribed and was downloading my favorite Apps. I finished downloading and was enjoying the all the features of the phone before all of a sudden it shut down and reboot itself. I suddenly realized that some of my favorite Apps had disappeared. I restored the factory settings just so I won't get any problems only to discover an abnormal App hanging within my phone. The App carries a tag name AD/ChrismasGift. Sometimes it shows "Dangerous Snake". Now this virus has occupied 65% of my RAM, a 3GB phone for that matter, without me putting anything in the phone – no music nor videos. I have taken this phone to software experts in Zaria where I'm schooling to check it for me but their efforts were just frutal. They asked me to take the phone to Kaduna (Tecno Office) where they can flash it back to its original OS. My anger is that why would Infinix design a phone of whopping sum like this (60k) without an antivirus system. Kindly check the picture of the virus down. Mods: Pls help me take this to front page so I can get a solution

bigcee:I have thought as much just that I discovered Infinix S3 has a better battery than Camon X. |
Hello guys, I want to buy between the two phones but I don't know which one is best. For Tecno Camon X, what fascinates me is the camera (16 MP rear and 20 MP front) while Infinix has about the same spec just that its battery is 4000 amp. Kindly help me make a choice for those who know both phones. |
Masturbation kills faster than we think. Those who find pleasure in it only do so because they haven't attempt having sex. By the time you meet with a woman, you will cum as quickly as you least expect. Now the difference between pleasure derived from masturbation and sex is that while in masturbation your hand is involved (squeezing hard to derive pleasure), in sex, no p*ss* is firm enough to squeeze your d*ck as your hands would hence the reason for Cumming too quickly. Even if you have the one that is firm enough to hold your "guy" as firmly as possible, a little winding would quench it to that normal state you've always trained it to behave. What most people that masturbate don't know is that masturbation involves a process of programming your genitals to behave in a consistent manner. That's why during sex, it acts the process of its training, living you more embarrassed than ever. STOP MASTURBATION NOW! |
doctorkush:That's because she is always in the kitchen and za oza room. Let her be allowed some level of freedom and you'll see blunders |
excess4luv:I'll try, thanks |
excess4luv:I actually have a skill. I teach, I sew clothes I do menial jobs. But the thing is that I stopped all these to pursue my education. |
pyramid007:Thanks bro. It's not as if I'm busy idling around. As a matter of fact, I'm into tutorials, mainly with HND students. What destabilized me is the accident that wrecked my bike. At a point I had to spend what I've been saving on admission process- from purchasing form to exam fee and so many other logistics those who have been there can relate. If the school can understand with me, I can pay my tuition in installments. I've never been a lazy type and will never be. Just that things ain't going my way right now. |
It gets me irked each time the issue of HND/Bsc dichotomy springs. This is because among all my folks who are Bsc holders, I haven't seen any who outsmarts me in the interlectual temple. I would need to tell you I graduated from the Polytechnic to know I really did. Truth is that there's nothing inferior about me when placed in the same frontier with University graduates. As a matter of fact, I have helped a lot of them with their course work and so non of them can underestimate me as far as interlectualism is concerned. The irony, however, is how society has labelled every Polytechnic graduate an "underdog" in contrast to their University counterparts. I have seen lots of the so-called "uni-perialists" who couldn't construct a simple sentence, yet the society keeps branding them "demigods" over Polytechnic folks. I have exhausted all options trying so hard to avoid being rude in my choice of words venting my frustrations, but each time I tried to, it eats me down to the spine. I don't see myself as inferior to any Bsc holder, but the fact that they are trying so hard to force it down our throats to accept this "false paradigm" is worrisome. What do I do then? Should I lock myself up and lament my "misfortunes" or wake up and do something? This thought keeps navigating my mind time and time again. By nature, I hate lagging behind. I hate asking for help when indeed I can use my hands to work. This gave me the impetus to keep going in the midst of storms after my service year. I had initially committed myself to a productive venture that would exude my self-sufficiency after NYSC. To be precise, I bought a motorcycle for commercials from the little savings I kept during my service year, but just in the nick of time, a car rammed into my brother who was riding the bike killing him and the passenger he was carrying. They both died at the spot living the bike in a sorry state. I couldn't help but used the little I saved for burial rites. Now I am left with nothing. I applied for my Post Graduate studies in ABU Zaria and was among those who successfully passed the screening exercise. Admission will be out any time from now but I absolutely don't have money for the tuition fee. My hope was on this year's N-power scheme, unfortunately, I wasn't shortlisted. Up till now, I am still wondering whether all that was required to be shortlisted is more than one's grade and BVN requirements. That aside, I am soliciting for your help to go back to school. I seriously need you to help me bridge this gap. I am depressed seeing that after graduating with a 3.07 CGPA, I still haven't laid my hands on any job. All the vacancies I applied for went into oblivion. I am beginning to think it's actually because I am a HND holder. Maybe the "degree" construct is the element I need to emancipate myself from the claws of discrimination which has held bound the labour market. Please help me achieve this. Help me in any possible way you can and God will bless you. Thanks in anticipation! Lala/Mods, please help me get this to the front page. |
Omo, the king is back. This song will dominate the airwaves from now till the end of the year and beyond |
I just confirmed from Mtn whether the advert below is from them and they denied placing any advert of a sort. As a matter of fact, they said Mtn doesn't have any website as the one given in this scam advert. Don't fall a victim please

My own experience is with Etisalat NG. I needed to subscribe for 200mb weekly plan at ₦200. I was directed to this website https://campusbiz.com.ng/etisalat-data-plan/ but to my greatest dismay, I was only credited 150mb instead. I asked them the rationale behind their action and their customer rep said I must have visited the wrong site. They claimed that the 200mb I saw on the above website is a previous plan which is no longer in use. As if that is not enough, I woke up only to be notified that my remaining data balance is 7mb. Note that I subscribed for this plan around 9:00pm, I didn't browse that night till the following day. In order to be sure that this plan sustain me for the week, I restricted background data on all Apps, leaving only operamini. Etisalat wiped my data without me using it. I asked their rep why was it so and he said Etisalat doesn't have control over the side I visit. Please tell me, does nairaland charge 80mb at a stance? Coz that's what my data settings is reading |
Please admin, I applied for N-agro using the same account name I used during my NYSC. It is the same name I have on my ATM card which I provided during the application I sent. Hope it will correspond with my BVN? |
If she can deny knowing Banky w and Falz, why won't she deny this one? |
