They only place it at entrances to adjoining roads, houses or shops to aid entrance.
But overall, trust JB to do a very good job 👍 not Julius Berger. Even craneburg in Umuahia is covering the gutter |

efe21: And who told you that you are Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa? How do you know who you are? And who taught you to take side?
See my brother.... You could have been born in any tribe or region in Nigeria and feel like seeing the rest of Nigeria and Nigerians from that view of perspective (be it Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa). But let me tell you something that is true, where you come from don't matter, and your ethnicity should not define your perception about other tribes or regions because you could easily have been there and then you start reasoning and viewing your current ethnicity from the ethnicity mentality of the other side you were born into.
So a quick fix to the menace slowing and same time rapidly destroying us as people of the country Nigeria; is to first see ourselves as Nigerians irrespective of our different ethnicities.... And to always see ourselves as Nigerians no matter what.... And to let the national anthems and the national pledge guild us solely and condition us in our very educated minds to first of all love our Country greatly, and love the people in our country dearly, treating them as family irrespective whatever ethnicity they are or belong to because it is no fault of theirs that they hail from there, but rather they hail from their ethnicity by divine making of the Almighty and All-knowing God. That is why we went to school in the first place, and that is why we are educated... So our education should reflect in our lives and actions.
I love you all.... And our great country Nigeria will definitely be great.... I am Efe aka Efelexy..... Cheers 🍷. I agree with most of what you type except from the last paragraph. Nigeria will be great no be for mouth. If things are not done rightly, we are heading to the precipice. |

burp18: Nigeria's problem is too complicated. The only and quickest problem is a military rule at the hands of the right person. I'm glad we both agree now that tribalism is a distraction. It's been a while I had a sane conversation with someone with opposing opinion. We can be having this kind of conversation everyday on nairaland, maybe thing will start to change |

burp18: This That's what you get when you have a house divided against itself. As though that's not enough. We also divided amongst religions. And it doesn't just stop there, Even within the same religion. There arestill divisions😅 Nigeria's problem's the more you look. The less you see Division is everywhere my brother but it's foolish to allow division affect the common goal for better living standard. I spent a lot of time in Yoruba land, I can tell you that many Yoruba clans do not totally agree on some issues. This also happens in Igbo land even within my state in Abia, even within my local government but the ability to manage these division is what matters. For example, as an Igbo man, because I do not agree with an Anambra man in many internal issues does not meant I won't defend Anambra state in nairaland when Yorubas or Hausas come for them. Now our common goal should be how can we but division aside when serious issues are involved. Me no Wan make my children meet this kind od a mess called Nigeria o |

As a matter of fact, I think the north will do more if they have the capacity to manage their resources but why can't it happen. Since we all know that it's the solution, we are some people scared of it. |

burp18: It's not so. There are times when you see a problem, you know the solution but still, some how can't seem to do a thing about it. Because it comes at a cost. A cost that'll have you questioning if it was ever worth it. That's true. You can see how we can have sane conversations without abusing each other's tribe? We are not discussing the real issues, see I don't have to like where you come from and you don't even need to fancy igbos. We just need to put such frivolity aside when these issue is affecting us negatively. It's the issue I have with most Nigerians, they always fall for the trial gimmick instead of actually facing the issue. |

So long as it's not going to drag the country into another unnecessary bloodshed that'll claim the lives of innocent. My point is. You're right to want out. You're right to want to succeed. But you can do that without calling for the heads of those who opposed you or those who decide to be neutral. Sincerely, I m not even a fan of seceding. I'm a fan of regional government because I know what we are capable of. I know that this current structure is not favoring us as a region and every Nigerian. So let's forget about seceding., let's focus on a solution like having to divide the sitting room different parts for everyone to manage and make use of and that's regionalism. |

We have a multitude of tribes and religions where everyone feels he's the qualified one and should be the one too rule. If we really want to know what the problem of this country is, we need to be logical. These are the questions we should be asking ourselves? 1. Is the country working? No 2. Why is the country not working? Because the current structure is unfair. It Favours the minority over the majority of Nigerians. 3. Who are the people that does not want this structure to change? These are the wrong people. Anybody who's not willing to change this structure is wrong |

We have a multitude of tribes and religions where everyone feels he's the qualified one and should be the one too rule. So are you suggesting that we continue this way? There has to be a solution, remember that your opinon is also part of the differing opinion and that because you hold such opinon does not automatically mean that you are right. Do you think that the United states kind of democracy of true federalism and resrouce control at regional level can help mitigate this? Don't you think that it's never going to be fair when you take a resources from another state to find project in another state? Don't you think thay this is the reason why our politicians are lazy and never going to be innovative? Don't you think that this is the reason they are playing the tribal card to maintain the status quo? These are questions that you should be asking yourself. Which part of the country wants the sttus quo more? Which part is benefiting from it and which part isn't? These are the questions you people are shying away from and this is where the solution lies. |

It's possible, it's not uncommon for people from middle belt especially Muslims from Kwara, Kogi, Niger and Nasarawa to be anti-igbo. It's just how the country is right now. It's very common that Christians from Benue, Taraba and Jos will not be anti-igbo. I suspect that you are Muslim so it's understandable Since I cannot really stop you from being Igbophobic, can we concentrate more on the solution to this mess? |

And I reiterate what I said about northerners and yorubas being more accommodating. Heck I travelled to some far away village in Adamawa last year. It's a typical bush. As in trenches 😁 And there's this Igbo guy I met who owns a pharmacy there. We got along so well😁 I can't take your word for it. You have a history for tribal bigotry against Igbo people. burp18: Firstly, You ought to learn to stop creating perspective of what people are based on your interactions with them. I'm not yoruba . Secondly, The question is not whether or not Hope won free and fair? Isn't it both to your advantage of you put your differences aside and work together of the better of the your people. Help me understand this I don't also believe that you are not a yoruba. I maybe wrong but to be sincere, I have seen a lot of people lie about their tribes just to win a debate here. Especially Yorubas and igbos. People lie a lot here That been said, I'm not interested in anything that is not genuine, I only need you to be sincere with yourself, you know within yourself that in a fair and fair election, it's mostly likely that Hope may not win. Whatever you say after that has derailed the aim of being sincere. |

Every problem bedeviling this country is happening because most of these elements are not acting on their own. How can Nigeria work when we are not agreeing? On what basis should we igbos agree with Yorubas and the hausas to make the country work? Are you in anyways ready to make peace? burp18: Every region has it's fair share of problems. It's laughable when you talk about tribal bigotry. The Yorubas and hausas and the most accommodating kind of people in this country. Igbos on the other hand are very intolerant. It's the reason there aren't a lot of Muslims and mosques in the east. Heck you'd be seen as some outcast or weird person for accommodating or leasing g your property to a Muslim. I've been to at least 34 of 36 states in this country so I know what I'm saying. There's no evidence that the yorubas and hausa are more accommodating than Igbos. It's still the same media lies we have been talking about coming from you and other tribal bigots alike. Theres no evidence that you have been to 34 of 36 states, I have seen a lot of tribal bigots lie here just to defend their bigotry and Igbophobia. You could be doing same Now to test how smart you are, I will ask you a question, what do you think is the solution to the current Nigerian problem? Let's stop feeding you with your usual tribal food |

Rochas was doing okay for himself but most Igbos hated him because he was with the opposition. Same with Rotimi Ameachi, And it goes on and on. The question is,, how has not liking these men helped you? Hope Uzodimma is governor for the second term today and you ask who are the biggest losers? It's laughable knowing the only reason most easterners don't support these men because they're in the ruling APC. A party formed by the hausas and yoruba you rever so mucv I don't know what it means, that's how you people see it. I'm saying that from your own perspective, you think Igbo has a choice. Dude, if I take you to a shrink in Okija to swear, can you swear that Hope won the election free and fair, if you lie you will die? 😂 One thing I admire about Yoruba people generally is your ability to see white and try to convince everyone that it's black. It's extraordinary because you and I know that the electoral process is shit 😅😅 |
