Jobs/VacanciesRe: Why Are Chinese Companies In Nigeria Maltreating Nigerians? by worksmart(m): 2:54am On Aug 10, 2014
It is called capitalism, if you do not like the working conditions then get another job.

If you choose to remain, then stop whining.

Blame your clueless govt who failed to create jobs for it people and is allowing foreign companies to operate without guaranteeing a minimum standard of working conditions.

PoliticsRe: Enemies Of Africa by worksmart(m): 10:59pm On Jul 18, 2014
Dude before you rush to attack yourself if you are truely African (and not just pretending to be) The questions is "Who are the enemies of Africa"

So you rant is very misguided
ebdib: I'm honestly tired of African African intellectuals who after spending years in Europe and America come to Africa to tell people that westerners are the cause of their troubles.
Most of these westerners left in the 50's and 60's. Granted some left scathing legacies but attributing our troubles to them is just the typical black man's attitude of always looking for others to blame.

HealthRe: Scientists Find Aggressive New HIV Strain ( Seems Confined To West Africa) by worksmart(m): 10:15pm On Dec 05, 2013
Confined to West Africa?

This a political statement, next you may find that Europeans may start denying West Africans visas after all majority of immigrants to Europe are West Africans.

Abeg when did the the HIV virus begin recognising geographical borders. So it not only aggressive but it also intelligent enough to recognise borders of West Africa and know not to cross it?

How does Igbos staying away stop the lies being thrown around?
Perhaps you mean this type of thread should never have be started by an Igbo - I would be more inclined to agree seeing how an educational thread has turned tribalistic.
thoth: It will do igbos no good. They will instead be disillusioned the more. I prefer such discussions among Igbos with the aim of educating their young ones in an Igbo only atmosphere. You can witness the kind of lies the Non Igbo tribes are throwing around already and very soon some non enlightened igbos will be catching on it.

Learn a bit from the Jews if the Igbos may.
CareerRe: Graduates: What Has Been Your Experience Getting Jobs? by worksmart(m): 4:31pm On Oct 08, 2013
I think most people find a way to survive and may be working in a job below what the are qualified to do, and for that reason would consider themselves unemployed.
ogb5: I have never be unemployed, never had the luxury.

While at the University, I had a litle business at the side with workers bringing in little money, kept the business going during youth service. Stepped back into the business for 2 yrs after youth service before I got a "better" job.

So how do you guys actually stay jobless, staying jobless must be a talent. If i don't have job as a graduate, I will buy 10 painting brushes, employ 10 road side painters and take contract of all painting of houses in my vicinity. Am too busy to stay idle.

Am out, wish you folks luck.
PoliticsRe: Comparing Legacies - Obasanjo Vs Goodluck Jonathan by worksmart(m): 4:20pm On Oct 08, 2013
Balewa introduced TV

Buhari Introduced computers

Abacha introduced car phones.

Lol!!

It is indicative of Obj's lack of achievement, that the only things his supporters claim he achieved was giving us gsm. What nonesense!

Even then he could not be credited with GSM as it was Abacha that issued the 1st GSM licence

coogar: this bit already tells me you are perhaps a stark illiterate. OBJ introduced what? so are you going to commend IBB for introducing satellite TV in nigeria or shagari for introducing video machines?

arrant nonsense!
