Emefiele is on trial for corruption and gross violation of extant provisions of the public procurement act. He is not being prosecuted for the series of bad policies he implemented as CBN governor since bad policies are not criminal offenses.

Buhari did not tell Emefiele to steal billions of Naira. Buhari did not tell Emefiele to violate the provisions of the Public Procurement Act. Emefiele will face his crimes alone.

Now Tinubu is claiming Emefiele stole N50bn, if true why did he never charge him with that theft in court.

Makes me suspect that Emeifele has indeed been killed in custody.
