⚡Donald Tusk will be sworn in as Prime Minister of Poland, most likely on December 13, the head of the Cabinet of the Polish President said. Today, the Polish Sejm will consider the issue of a vote of confidence in the current Cabinet of Ministers Mateusz Morawiecki. It is expected that parliamentarians will vote no confidence in him. This became possible after the victory of the opposition led by Tusk in the parliamentary elections.

⚡“Israel has only a few weeks left to destroy Hamas”: America has given Israel until the new year to complete the operation in the Gaza Strip, The Economist reports. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken conveyed a similar message to his interlocutors during a recent visit to Israel. The Biden administration is demanding that Israel do more to reduce the suffering of Palestinian civilians, especially in the southern Gaza Strip. If the US demands to stop bombing the Gaza Strip early next year, the Israeli army will most likely continue its military campaign, albeit with less intensity. In this situation, Hamas will continue to control part of the Gaza Strip, and Israel will not achieve its main goal - to destroy the organizers of the October 7 attack.

⚡Concerns are growing over the weakening of armed forces and the emptying of arsenals in Europe, WSJ reports. The leaders of Europe - the British military - have only about 150 tanks and perhaps a dozen serviceable long-range artillery guns. France, also a big military spender, has less than 90 heavy artillery pieces, equivalent to what Russia is losing roughly every month on the battlefield in Ukraine. Denmark has no heavy artillery, no submarines, no air defense systems. The German army has enough ammunition for two days of combat. For decades, Western governments have put up with the weakening of European armies because the US has been the backbone of NATO and defense policy in Europe. However, anxiety is growing as America takes an increasingly isolationist position, and the understanding of the potential threat to Europe from the Russian Federation is re-emerging after almost two years of fighting in Ukraine.

⚡In the Avdeevka direction they report the capture of the enemy’s forward position in the Vinogradniki area near the industrial zone in the south. The Russian Armed Forces are conducting active operations near Novokalinovo in the north, fighting continues in the Stepovoye area and near the coke fuel plant. |

⚡On the Zaporozhye front, our airborne units were sent in small groups to occupy enemy positions in the Verbovoye area, but in the conditions of the enemy FPV drones being used actively they were unable to do this. The need to equip each vehicle at the front line with mobile electronic warfare systems becomes obvious. Enemy drones seriously hamper the maneuver of our troops along the entire front line. During the day, near Rabotino and Verbovoye, the enemy also tried to advance with assault groups; the attacks were repelled by small arms and artillery fire. |

⚡At night, the Russian Armed Forces launched missile strikes on Kiev. Preliminary, the hypersonic Kinzhals (“Daggers”) were used: the air raid alarm went off after the strikes. The enemy reports 8 missiles. The Geranium UAV hit a logistics hub in Snigirevka, Nikolaev region (as part of the Kherson region of Russia as a result of the referendum), and reported an explosion in the Kirovograd region. ⚡IISS study finds there are 183 regional and local conflicts underway in 2023, the highest number in 30 years. The intensity of conflict has risen year on year, with fatalities increasing by 14% and violent events by 28% in the latest survey. The International Committee of the Red Cross catalogues 459 armed groups whose activities provoke humanitarian concerns, with 195 million people living under their full or partial control. Ukraine remains, unsurprisingly, the most violent place on the planet, but Syria, Brazil, Myanmar, Mexico and Iraq are also riven. The numbers of refugees displaced by war are stunning: more than six million in Syria, five million in Afghanistan, a million in Myanmar.

Are they completely crazy? Are they completely, as I would put it more simply, popularly, completely insane? The air force was used against civilians, tanks were used. We actually didn't interfere with it at first. We thought it would somehow calm down on its own. No! Then we were forced to start helping people. We concluded these Minsk agreements. They also said, "We are not ready to fulfill them." Did they try for it? They said it publicly. The former chancellor of Germany and the president of France said: "We didn't even think about implementing them." They only signed it to prepare Ukraine for war.
