⚡Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday called on US companies to invest into his country’s rare earths after Donald Trump said he wanted a deal with Kyiv which involved getting the minerals in exchange for aid.

“I would like US business… to develop this field here,” Zelensky said, according to comments published by his office. “We are open to the fact that all this can be developed with our partners, who are both helping us to protect our land and pushing the enemy back with their weapons, and sanctions packages — and this is absolutely fair.”

If allowing Ukraine to join NATO is being protracted again and again, what will be defending us against this evil? Will we be given nuclear weapons?

Will they give us missiles in quantities so we can stop Russia? What else can stop Russia. Give us back nuclear arms.

⚡🇨🇳 Chinese manufacturers have started shifting production to other countries to avoid new US duties imposed by Donald Trump, the Financial Times reports.

The response to the imposed duties of 10 per cent on Chinese exports could be an increase in countermeasures such as higher tariffs, export controls and devaluation of the yuan.

The Chinese government's initial response was restrained. However, following Trump's trade agreement with Canada and Mexico and an announced phone call with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, Beijing remained hopeful for negotiations.

Meanwhile, the duties went into effect today, Chinese companies, especially in southern industrial areas, have begun shifting some production to other countries, including the Middle East.

⚡The ongoing Canada-US trade dispute has put Canada’s F-35 fighter jet deal under scrutiny, with officials now considering alternatives.

Canada finalized a deal in 2023 to acquire 88 x F-35A jets, with deliveries starting in 2026. However, escalating tensions have led officials to reassess options, including Sweden’s Saab Gripen E.

British Columbia Premier David Eby warned:

“If the U.S. expects Canada to increase defense spending while imposing tariffs, we may be forced to procure from other countries.”

Leaving the F-35 program would be complex, as Canada has invested $613 million since 1997, securing $1.3 billion in contracts for over 100 Canadian firms supplying key aircraft components.

⚡🇷🇺 Sergei Lavrov:

America First Sounds a Lot Like Deutschland Über Alles.

The US transition to the "America First" concept has an alarming resonance with the slogan of the Hitler period, "Germany Above All" - Lavrov

The focus on "establishing peace through force" could finally bury diplomacy; such ideological constructs do not have a shadow of respect for Washington's obligations under the UN Charter, Russia’s Foreign Minister emphasized in an article for the magazine "Russia in Global Affairs."
