⚡Farmers' protests in Spain: Over the past two days, Spanish farmers have blocked several other major highways - including one near the border between Spain and France. If the trend continues, the country could experience serious food supply disruptions and transportation collapse in a few days. However, it is not yet possible to say definitively how long the demonstrations will continue. Farmers' unions have planned several dozen rallies in February and March, but it is possible that minor concessions by Pedro Sanchez's government, which may be made as early as next week, will cool the enthusiasm of the protesters. 3 Likes

⚡NATO countries have resumed the active combat training phase of the Alliance's integrated units. Yesterday, the Dynamic Front exercise began in Germany, Romania, Poland and Turkey. During this exercise, artillery groups, primarily from the U.S. Army's 56th Artillery Command, as well as other NATO members, will work out a scenario of their combat application in a full-fledged war. Judging by the statements of representatives of the U.S. Army Europe Command, firing ranges will be held, followed by a move to the area of combat operations, which is as usual represented by Russia and Belarus.

⚡Blinken met Egypt's Sisi on Gaza hostage deal US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has arrived in Egypt on his fifth regional tour since October last year. Blinken was set to meet Egyptian mediators, who, together with other Arab counterparts, have tried to put together a peace deal for Israel-Gaza war. In Cairo he also met the president of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sissi and was due to travel to Doha for talks with Qatar’s ruling emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The US, Egypt and Qatar have been working on a deal that would halt the war and enable the exchange of Israeli captives held by Hamas and Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
