⚡️🇷🇺 Russia MFA Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova:

"Children from 🇷🇺 Russia often became victims of American adoptive parents... until January 1, 2013, Russia was the leading origin country of European children adopted by American citizens... race is an important factor for Americans. Would-be adoptive parents asked for – sorry, but I have to quote them – “white children.”

We remember the horrible cases of ill-treatment and abuse of underage children adopted from Russia. The relevant 🇺🇸 US agencies often disregard their obligations, and the US Department of State covers up their inaction... This is why we banned the adoption of Russian children by American citizens on January 1, 2013.

Following that, they moved their attention to 🇺🇦 Ukraine and other post-Soviet countries, which they regard as the new sources of the international adoption of children, predominantly children of 🇪🇺 European origin. They have a special term for them, “white Caucasian.” So much for the lives and skin color that matter.

⚡️The intensification of cooperation between Russia and Cuba is a "difficult trap" for the 🇺🇸 United States, says University of Texas professor and historian Jeremy Suri.

"The White House wants the Kremlin (and 🇨🇳 China) to recognize that they must limit their support for 🇨🇺 Cuba and respect American interests," the professor writes.

Now there may be prerequisites for a situation similar to the Caribbean crisis of 1962.

"Military escalation around Cuba is a dangerous temptation for 🇷🇺 Russia and a difficult trap for the US," Suri said.

⚡95% of Ukrainian grain is not supplied to African countries - 🇮🇹 Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto

“95% of 🇺🇦 Ukrainian grain is supplied outside the African continent, but if African countries do not receive this grain, they will try to replenish it, and prices will inevitably rise.

As a result, it will be more difficult to buy it in Africa. The destabilization of this region is a problem that affects 🇪🇺 Europe,” the minister said.

Vladimir Putin:

"If Polish units enter, for example, Lviv or other territories of 🇺🇦 Ukraine, they will remain there. And they will stay there forever. This, by the way, will be nothing new. Let me remind you that after the defeat of Germany and its allies at the end of World War I, Polish units occupied Lviv and the adjacent lands that belonged to 🇦🇹 Austria-Hungary at that time.

Poland, instigated by the West, took advantage of the tragedy of the Russian Civil War and annexed some historical 🇷🇺 Russian provinces. Our country, which was in a dire situation at that time, was forced to conclude the Treaty of Riga in 1921 and actually recognized the annexation of its territories.

And even earlier, in 1920, 🇵🇱 Poland seized a part of Lithuania - Vilna region, the territory around modern Vilnius. It seems that together with Lithuanians they fought against the so-called "Russian imperialism", and as soon as an opportunity arose, they immediately grabbed a piece of land from their neighbors.

Poland, as it is known, took part in the division of Czechoslovakia as a result of the Munich agreement with Hitler in 1938. It completely occupied Teshinska Silesia.

In the 20s and 30s of the last century in the so-called Eastern Kresy of Poland - and this is the territory of Western Ukraine, Western 🇧🇾 Belarus and part of 🇱🇹 Lithuania - there was a rigid polonization and assimilation of local inhabitants, suppression of national cultures and Orthodoxy.

I would also like to remind you of how such an aggressive policy ended for Poland. It ended with the national tragedy of 1939, when Poland was thrown by the Western allies to the German war machine and actually lost its independence and statehood, which was restored to a great extent thanks to the Soviet Union. And it was thanks to the Soviet Union, thanks to Stalin's position, that Poland gained significant lands in the West, lands of 🇩🇪 Germany. That's exactly right: the western territories of present-day Poland are Stalin's gift to the Poles."
