⚡🇱🇾 Libya’s leadership is counting on the help of Russia and other African countries in achieving the withdrawal of foreign troops from the country's territory, Libyan Presidential Council Chairman Mohamed al-Menfi said. "We appeal to our friends in the Russian leadership and our friends in the African countries to help us in [obtaining] the withdrawal of all foreign troops from our territory," he said at a plenary session of the second 🇷🇺 Russia-Africa Summit. The Presidential Council chairman noted that, since the ceasefire in his country, the Libyan leadership has been focused primarily on overcoming national divisions and creating unified armed forces that can be relied upon to "maintain peace and tranquility in order to resolve the urgent tasks facing the country." ⚡An explosion occurred at the Kuibyshev oil refinery in Samara. A terrorist attack took place at the Kuibyshev oil refinery in 🇷🇺 Samara. State Duma deputy Alexander Hinstein reported the activation of a special explosive device on the premises of the plant. According to the latest information, fortunately, no one was injured, and there were no significant damages. ⚡️Rheinmetall CEO Announces Tank-Repair Center in 🇺🇦 Ukraine After Summer Break. According to the CEO of Rheinmetall, Armin Papperger, the German company intends to establish a repair center in Ukraine for Leopard tanks and other military equipment provided by Berlin. The plan is to initiate this project as early as late summer. Papperger mentioned that they are already training Ukrainian personnel in 🇩🇪 Germany for the upcoming responsibilities associated with the repair center. The aim is to commence operations once the summer break is over.
