Based on what I have read on this thread, I'm sure you can have 2 active EE profile but I am not sure if you can have active profile and apply for student permit simultaneously.

WES evaluates professional certificate but ICAN doesn't give you additional points as it is not equivalent to a Canadian certificate only ACCA counts as BSC.

Hello, is ICAN equivalent to two or more certificate? I am not sure of this because ICAS did not evaluate my ICAN result/Certificate when i did my evaluation years back. They only evaluated my University degree and told me they were not designated for evaluating professional Certificate like ICAN.

Hmm, I quite understand your plight and absolutely agree with you on your submission, but its quite unfortunate that this is happening. The so called agents are doing big boys in town with other peoples money and putting the "desperadoes" (using your word) in big wahala and at the mercy of God. Don't be surprise, some of the agent may be reading this thread as well, but all the same, lets be our brothers keeper and continue the good work while the so called agents face their own karma by Gods grace.

To be candid ma, if the consequences of their actions is melted to them alone, nobody will bother. But the result of their actions affect the applicants (both genuine and fake) generally.
Obviously there are two different type of agents.
The real agents--- this category of agents will never falsify documents for you, they will apply to the embassy with every documents your provide. they guide you as to every relevant documents to be submitted base on their immigration knowledge (if the applicant is a novice). the likes of Maple, PFL.... they will never give you a fake S.O.A. or some non-traceable evidence of sponsor's documents. With this set of people, you know that you only risk the money you paid them if eventually your visa is not granted (no risk of been banned) and it does not in anyway alter the credibility of the nation and other applicants at large.
The fake agents----the likes of GVC and co, they are the people that will go ahead and doctor every necessary documents including S.O.A, letter of affidavit,.... i will say categorically that people that patronize this agents are the ones that are dubious and very lazy which V.O's do refer to as 'not a genuine student' because obviously they have not intention of schooling in Canada.
If you don't have the financial capability to school in Canada, there are other migrating options to be considered. skilled migration, federal, trade....and more instead of tarnishing the image of the country and causing impediment on the path of Genuine students.
I hate to see when applications are been refused and at the conclusion of the V.O i read statements like '.....NOT SATISFIED THAT PRINCIPAL APPLICANT IS A GENUINE STUDENT' after spending a lot of money in getting admission and processing visa coupled with the overwhelming 17weeks that is capable of raising someone's HBP.
The statement 'not a genuine statement' is a very embarrassing statement to someone's integrity that only people with integrity will fight and challenge very hard.

Please whoever consulted an agent or an agency whether GVC Or whatsoever agent, should be prepared to bear the risk of whatever consequence(s) the V.O has decided to melt out to him or her.
Something I don't still understand here is; How is it possible that when a prospective applicant wants to apply for TRV, they are usually unaware of this thread, But when they run into CIC hot pot of soup it is then that one angel will open their eyes to this thread to come and derail this thread?
If you as a prospective applicant does not have all the necessary document at present, why not wait till you are able to gather every document needed and submit a very solid application that has integrity rather than visiting an agent that's promising to doctor documents for you when you know the full consequences of doing that?
V.O's aren't fools that they won't be competent enough to detect the same [/b]doctored documents submitted by hundreds of different applicants.
Please i think it's high time the note of warning is sounded here that [b]WHEN YOU RUN INTO CIC HOT TROUBLE, PLEASE GO TO YOUR AGENT OR AGENCY AND LAMENT AND LET HIM/HER PROFER SOLUTION TO YOUR PREDICAMENT.

Good morning to you all nairalander, a wonderful job you guys are doing here. I have been following this thread from part 10 as a guest but eventually join the forum not long.
@Penitential, information is very vital, even at my almost 40 years of age, I never knew of any thread like this until recently. We can not blame the guys that fall victim of this agent per se, may be they were not aware of the forum or were not aware of the consequences of the offence in case in backfired.
Pls, you guys should continue to be supportive and show mercy as you have always been.
