Though i'll appeal to you that you don't forget us totally, once a while when you are chance you can just check on us. We wish you all the best. Stay blessed.
dupyshoo:
Hi All, I just want to let everyone know that l won't be regular on the thread anymore due to changes in my schedule. This might also affect the rate at which I attend to PMs. The good thing is that there are so many people on the thread that are knowledgeable about the process and will be able to answer any questions that may be asked.

I have learnt a lot, made some good friends through this thread and have enjoyed answering questions. I wish everyone on this journey quick PPR and smooth relocation to Canada.

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by wunmimi: 4:43pm On Feb 24, 2017
@ Folaroyal,
please I send you an email. Kindly check .

Folaroyal:
You do not need to attach your correspondence letter on the thread
This date is the last day allowed to enter Canada with the permit you are holding. You should enter before that date.... on or before your resumption!
If anything prevents you from entering at the date specified on your offer letter; you MUST have substantial proof of reason (by deferral letter usually) to show at the PoE.
If you do not have or are not willing to process a deferral... Just jejely enter at the designated intake period!
Regards.

Congrats ssemire. However, please don't forget to give back to this forum for others to benefit from your experience. Stay blessed .
ssemire:
Hello house.

I'm a very silent observer on this thread. However, I will like to share the good news that I've landed in Canada. From ITA to PPR took 9 months.

It is better to ensure you block all avenues for more documents request by providing all upfront. That way, your application will not be abandoned.

All the best to all that have received ITA
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 11:28am On Feb 23, 2017
Since its a gift, it doesn't need to be in the account for a long time before ITA, you only need it post ITA for document submission. Meanwhile it is advisable for the money to be in your account throughout the application process or simply put, till you receive your PPR because you could be ask to produce it again during application processing.
As regards gift deed from two people, I will advise you merge the fund and let only one person do deed gift for you, I'm not sure if I have come across anyone using more than one gift deed.
Kathyjex:
Please how long is a gift deed expected to stay in the account prior to application? Is one allowed to have more than one gift deed?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 10:28pm On Feb 22, 2017
Yes, your brother and or any other person can give you a gift deed. Its not limited to parent or anyone.
senator77:
Hello everyone, can my brother (same parents) living in USA give POF as gift deed or its only parent ? Please i need your response
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 5:47pm On Feb 22, 2017

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 3:08pm On Feb 22, 2017
No, i didn't but many people on this forum did and they were eventually nominated
HTC2017:
Oh, OK.

Maybe it's to check traffic.

Sorry...did you pay same? Ontario-bound?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 12:32pm On Feb 22, 2017
The 1500 CAD is an application fee for Ontario. meanwhile, the payment does not guarantee nomination from the province but it worth trying
HTC2017:
Nice one!

The 1500 CAD to be paid is for what please? Could you share the link containing the info?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 11:49am On Feb 22, 2017
I think your Fixed deposit certificate and gift deed should suffice except you have other account where part of your POF is that you want to add to it. Otherwise, you should be good with those two
temitope06:
Pls in this case where you get a gift deed and fix the amount, what else is to be submitted alongside fixed deposit documents and gift deed?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 2:58pm On Feb 21, 2017
It shall end with praise
SlowlybtSurely:
I don close eye submit last week.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 7:14pm On Feb 20, 2017
Yes, you can
lumzy1:
Hello All,
Concerning the required POF, my parent will give me the required amount as a gift deed, but I want to confirm if can I put the required POF in a fixed deposit account?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 11:37am On Feb 20, 2017

mrsJustveryOkay:

Which is best for you how? Between what and what? The two are as necessary as water is to life. Take your time to read the first few pages of the thread as I have said before, with that, you will have an idea of the scenario. Trust me, its worth reading and investing your time on, you wouldn't regret you did.
As for the phone call, ko le werk. Ask your question here to get maximum practicable and realistic answers and for the benefit of others as well.

bigheadday:
Please @wunmimi... Which is best for me? Can I talk to u on phone maybe a guide through phone conversation will give me a better clue. @boldinc if u would allow, please can I also talk to you? Thanks
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 7:42am On Feb 17, 2017
Its so unfortunate that our great Institute is not doing enough in term of international accreditation of our ICAN Certificate, I sent my BSc and ICAN certificate to ICAS in 2014 for evaluation, only the BSc was evaluated and I was told they don't evaluate professional certificate. Since it doesn't add to my points, I decided not to bother myself with it again.

Make do with the BSc evaluated and see where you can add points aside the ACA certificate
40manlappy:
Thank you. We evaluated our BSc degrees with ICAS way back 2015.

WES came into the picture in early 2016. It was an attempt to increase CRS score by assessing ACA since ICAS doesn't evaluate professional certificates.

The idea was to claim "2 or more certificates" but I later found out on this thread that WES has not been nice to holders of ICAN qualifications.

At this point, we have nothing to lose having made payment for the evaluation nearly a year ago.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 7:45pm On Feb 16, 2017
Why evaluating WAEC? This isn't necessary
40manlappy:
My wife has a pending assessment with WES.

Please see reason provided by WES as the cause of the delay below;

"The document was not received from the institution or the appropriate examining body that awarded the degree/diploma as required by WES."

This was their further instruction: "Please arrange for your academic documents to be sent directly to WES by the institution or examining body that awarded your degree/diploma."

Has anyone been able to get WAEC to send their examination results for the Senior School Certificate directly to WES?

Does WAEC respond to enquiries from foreign assessment bodies the way our universities issues transcripts?

Any useful contacts at WAEC please?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 7:43pm On Feb 16, 2017
It shouldn't be the reason
mrsJustveryOkay:
Okay, noted.
Pls I just discovered another thing with my sister now, I'm not up to 1yr on current job but 6+ more (overall). Could this be a reason for my ineligibility?
Thanks
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 4:33pm On Feb 16, 2017
Eligibility Point is different from CRS score. Read the first few pages of this thread for more clarification.

bigheadday:
@mrsjustveryokay.. And other gurus in the house, please how can one rate his or herself. I've seen a link where it's total eligibility score is 100 and applicant is expected to score 67. Also I've seen another where applicant is expected to score 437 or there about. Please which is the actual one to use to check ones suitability? Thank u
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 4:05pm On Feb 16, 2017
Yes, you have to
molly14:
Good day house
Question on SINP it seems you have to submit proof of funds from application point, I am right please.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 3:25pm On Feb 16, 2017
Also double check to ensure the amount you put as fund matched with your family size requirement
mrsJustveryOkay:
Yes I did. IELTS and WES is done too. I have ECA ref number..valid. IELTS result is also valid.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 2:58pm On Feb 16, 2017
Are you sure you truthfully assessed yourself to have scored at least 67 points out of 100?
What of your credential assessment? Has it been done? I asked because you can't enter the pool without your ECA reference number. The IELTS test is also a must before you can enter the pool.

mrsJustveryOkay:
Oh Yes i did "wunmimi. And it says I may be eligible to apply, I got a code which I used to apply
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 1:28pm On Feb 16, 2017
Have you checked your eligibility before trying to submit your express entry profile? If not, you can use this link to find out your eligibility http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp
mrsJustveryOkay:
Good day house, I'm new here pls. I need help and advise on cic express entry. I have submitted my application 3 times now and the message i got is " profile ineligible", I do not know if there is something I'm not getting right.

It should bro since the legal agreement would have indicated who the previous owner is (Your name in this case)and also shows the ownership transfer of the said property (between you and the buyer).

senator77:
Will only the legal agreement doc and sale receipt of the property suffice in my case as the building doesn't have any C of O and approved survey
plan? Please help a brother.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 7:54am On Feb 16, 2017
I think either way is good, If you have documents that can back up the landed property sold, you can deposit the bulk in your account and back it with LOE. However, you can as well pay the bulk into your spouse account and she later transfer it to your account which is also an acceptable source and attach your LOE as well.
My opinion though
{quote author=senator77 post=53751993]Hi All, I'm a silent follower of this thread and i really appreciate all your contributions on this platform. My question is : i intend to sell my landed property worth about 10mill and use as POF. Do i need to explain the source of bulk fund on LOE or i should just deposit it in my spouse acct and she later transfer to my account. Please i need your response, plssss.[/quote]

It shouldn't be a problem provided you will be able to get reference letter from the employers
