chrisooblog:You are one of the doubters that need this video.

chrisooblog:The main reason Mt Kilimanjaro is mostly seen from Nairobi is the due to the geographical topography of the southern parts of Nairobi. Kilimanjaro which lies to the south of Nairobi has no mountain or any hill blocking it and also remember that you also said that Mt Everest can't be seen 140km away and that's the main reason I posted Mt Kenya's views from Nairobi which is equivalent to your estimation. You have to consider that Mt Everest is 8,000m going up compared to Mt Kenya and Mt Kilimanjaro which are 5,000m each so your point was complete guess work. |
tylann:Here is Mt Kilimanjaro from Nairobi, Kilimani district.

forgiveness:GTC is incomplete. Have you ever seen incomplete buildings getting ranked no matter how tall they are? |
theenchanter:You don't make sense at all. It is because three quarter of it is inhabitable just like your Millennium. If three quarter of it could be inhabitable then the structure could be listed among tallest buildings even if it is a communication tower. |
theenchanter:Answer the question you have been asked. Why is it not listed as the tallest tower in Africa yet it is 296m? |
forgiveness:What you have to know is that structures with less than three quarter of inhabitable space is not usually regarded as tower. So Millennium is not and will never be listed among the tallest buildings in Africa. |
forgiveness:So you know Parliament tower better than me? Ok tell me, which tower is this?

AvatarPublished on September 17, 2019By Judy Mwende SHARE TWEET The Leonardo in Sandton. PHOTO | COURTESY The history of skyscrapers in Africa began in 1973 with the construction of Carlton Centre in Johannesburg, which held the title of the tallest building in Africa until April 2019.
