I think shortlisting must have started by now. What we just need pray for is to be successfully selected and contacted soonest because merit will be their guiding point. Any other thing shall follow.

Bros u didn't get me right. I was actually in tune with what you submitted and was advising the other guy against giving false alarm when he said he was just called. Maybe I didn't structure my submission well that lead to the misconception. Apologies anyway.

Pray hard that they don't disqualify you. International Organizations like this and others are smart in their approaches to recruitment of suitable candidates for vacant positions unlike Nigeria per se and where they find a candidate to have applied for more than one position, they may feel the person doesn't have a taste for a particular job and may disqualify such on merit except where such candidate use different identities and qualifications. Am not trying to cause tension here but alert you to pray hard and hope we all make it to the top. Good luck guys.

Did anyone informed you of a mail received from them? As per application status, non was send a confirmation email after mailing the application. We all are expecting to here from them by any means. SMS, Emails, calls or names publishing.

Not everything one can try that now. I actually went on my visit but got there late due to the fact that something held me back in the office and I had to close late and so couldn't reach to make my enquiries. Anyway, let's just keep hopes alive. God will answer us in time.

I am from KD and I met candidates from Katsina and about 6 from my own KD. If u see two people from the same District, then they are of different Ministries. Some are for BPP, Information, Trade and Investment and some I didn't ask them. More so, some have done their documentation since Wednesday and some Thursday. Some are likely to do theirs by Monday from the look of things. But invitations were send out since Thursday and Friday last week.

I was at the FCT and Niger Commissioners office but went there late. But didn't sight any candidate doing documentation except for those who came for runs as if they missed out on the first invitation.

I want to state again that I was at the FCSC office yesterday from morning till around 6pm when I rounded up and left.

On the issue of 3 per vacancy of a state, u might not have gotten me right. For instance, BPP, if slots of BPP is allocated to ur state, then it can't be more than three per that state. The highest scorer in each of the three Senatorial District in the state will be picked. But that is not to say the Federal Commissioner of that state cannot manipulate and pick his candidate instead of the highest scorer even if he/she scored the least in the interview.

However, you can be many selected from ur State but each of u will be the only one picked to represent (Merit or by Crook) the slot for ur Senatorial District for that MDA u were shortlisted for.

Again, I repeat that slots of certain MDA's were not allocated to some States but the Commissioner erroneously shortlisted applicants for interview. That is the more reason why some candidates from certain States will not get the text for documentation before from initial, slots were not even given.

As per North East, I met at different times with candidates from Gombe, Bauchi, Taraba, Adamawa and Jigawa. Only Borno and Yobe I noticed I didn't meet anyone from that axis but don't have any info concerning those States.

Am visiting someone close to their office tomorrow if I close early from work. So I might just stop by and make a few enquiries. I hope it turns out positive if I made it to the ECOWAS office.

No. Quote me right. Once you have received a text and have done or will do ur documentation accordingly, u are good to go. You are in already. APL is awaiting u. But for those who just filled forms and got filed and FC numbers without getting a text message which signifies their selection, might be chasing a ghost. Because ur form must be verified from the list before the letter is printed for u. No text message good as not selected. This I learned. Opening of file is equally for reference purpose aside documenting ur credentials.

One more thing, these guys don't allow anyone see the list irrespective of the state.

As sad as my own info might seem, I was equally at the FCSC today from about 8:00am to about 6:00pm when I rounded up and left. Reliably I was told that all shortlisted candidates have been send SMS. If by now u haven't gotten, then it's over. SE, SW, SS, NE, NW and NC all have been invited. I saw guys from all states. Funny enough most of those guys I sensed don't do Nairaland and a few do but don't make comments on the forum. However some who couldn't get the text manage to enter and get a form and filled out and got FC numbers. But don't celebrate yet until u see Appointment Letters cos ur wish might just be a dream. All forms dully filled and submitted must be crosschecked and name match on the list before a letter will be typed for such a fellow.

A Federal Commissioner told me that the highest slot a state can get for a vacancy is 3. One from each Senatorial District. However, that some Commissioners erroneously shortlisted candidates for Ministry's or Parastatals that slot weren't allocated to their respective states and there is nothing they can do about it than to discard such results. So sorry about that.

Hope is not all lost. Strong underground runs is underway shortlisting and compiling names to add to the already invited ones. But the Commissioner emphatically stressed that the slots have not been approved yet. So you may need to get a God Father to step in this matter if not, this recruitment is history now. I don't know anything abt getting any text msg I wasn't shortlisted so its nt my problem anymore. A piece of advice...if u have been shortlisted jst be patient cos ryt nw most agencies are on a stand still.

How far bros. How far with the FCSC stuff now? I used to see ur post there. Have you gotten their text message? My zone and State is yet to attend to us o. Kaduna / Katsina.

Kaduna and Katsina States. How far. Still hopeful but text messages ain't rolling yet. Please from those of you that have attended the exercise, Did you noticed Kaduna / Katsina Assembly or better still, any credible info regarding these States? Thanks.

Huh. So many contradictions here. The end must surely come someday and that will justify whose internal or external source is valid and reliable. Just keep hope alive and good luck to all.

The questions were OK but bothered generally on listing two countries from either North America , South America, Asia, ECOWAS countries and Countries where Nigeria has High Commission and those with Embassies. Though three questions in all and all of you that entered in ur group of 5 to 7 are expected to answer same with varying answers. No professional question as far as I was able to gather. It's a done deal for MFA candidates. Best wishes.
