Dear Ruky8 and Everyone experiencing the same problem, so sorry to know you are having this issue with WES Canada. I was in this same condition too but, I just got mine resolved. Here is the path to follow;
first, when you see awaiting verification from institution, it means WES have sent a request to your School and you will also see the VDR request mail in your inbox. Please note that WES mostly sends the VDR to your School my email. if you require hard copy to be sent to your school, WES will charge you for Courier service.
Confirm from your school academic office if there is any fees to send the verification document. if no fees then you are lucky, the officer in charge will send the document by email or fax without you even asking. If there is a fee to be paid, they will let you know. Just follow the school's procedure to pay such fees after which the officer in charge will send the request by email or fax.
If you want WES to receive the verification document from your school in a week time, then request from your school that they send through Courier service and you pay the money for the courier service and viola.
I wish this little information will be of help to everyone.
Thanks for this.
Please do you have an idea of the Courier service that WES normally use to send verification request if one pay for it? Is it trackable, as in, will WES give tracking number? Please I want to know as I'm required to pay $150 for courier service to send the VDR to my undergraduate schools.
WES is really frustrating me

I am in the same situation right now, how were you able to resolve it? WES said they sent the docs to my school for verification but my uni here confirmed to me that they didn't receive anything in my name. Registrar's assistant even opened their email box for. E to read. Pls reply

I'm still on it. After speaking with one of their CSRs last Friday I was told to ask the schools for an alternative email address where they can resend it. I contacted the schools again and sent it to WES yesterday Monday and followed it up with a call, but I was told it will take 3 working days to review the email addresses and get back to me.
Were your documents for WES USA or WES Canada? If it's USA, then it seems their is an issue with WES USA mail delivery to Nigeria as it doesn't take this much time for WES Canada mail to get delivered..."my observation so far"

.....saw your post on USA visa part 12 thread, we'll get there by HIS grace

People of God please help!!!!
WES sent me a notice that they sent photocopies of my docs to my institution for verification in March but my school confirmed to me that they have not received anything from WES. The woman in charge at the registrars office even opened the email inbox and spam folder of address that they use to receive the docs from WES, we found nothing in my name. Disturbed about that info, I sent several emails to WES asking them to resend to my schoo(even stated the right email address), they confirmed to me yesterday that have sent the photocopies to my school again, but to my surprise my school confirmed to me this morning that they have not received anything yet again. Who has an idea of what is going on pls? I don't even know how to proceed from here. I paid for the course by course evaluation. Is it possible that WES did not send the photocopies of my docs through email? Someone help me pls
I'm currently is the same situation. I am regretting using WES already

Greetings to everyone here.
Please I have a question for those who have used WES.
Does WES also ask for Diploma transcripts for those who did direct entry to get their first degree ?
Please I need opinion from those who have the experience
I don't think I have the best answer to this but in my own case I requested for both my Diploma and Degree transcripts to be evaluated by WES. Reason was that my Degree program normally was to be 4years but being a DE candidate I spent 3years. So I think the Diploma program should make up for 100L in university.

No, I was referring to the academic certificate(my mistake).
@Neeyoh

I assume you have gone through WES verification process which they do by sending duplicate copies of the documents they received back to the issuing school to verify and confirm the authenticity.
Please from your experience, it takes how many
days/weeks for the regular hardcopy mail (request for verification) from WES to be received in Nigeria?
Any idea if WES makes use of Courier services 'speed post' or the ordinary snail mailing?

Thank you in anticipation

I have just received the same upon requesting an evaluation from WES. Kindly anyone with experience explain to me how to go about me. For example, are the documents sent to school via e-mail, courier, or Postal address?
This post is couple of months old now.
How did you go about it then ?
I am currently in the same situation.
After paying $302 for WES to evaluate my transcripts, they informed me just on 17/07/2017 that they have sent verification request to my schools after a week of receiving my documents. I am aware that WES sometimes send email for schools that make use of that for verification) and regular hardcopy mail too.

I need to know this so that I can know when to go and sit on their neck in my schools so that they can verify and reply WES on time as I'm having less than 3weeks deadline for the school I'm applying to to receive the evaluation report from WES.
Thank you in anticipation

Hi guys . need your help on this. I applied to Wes to have my transcript evualated, paid the required evaluation fee, about 290 dollars after which my school sent my transcript to Wes via dhl. Five days later Wes sent my credentials back to my school for verification and my document has been with my school for a week now. So I went to my school to find out why they've not verified and replied Wes, they said Wes is suppose to pay them 100dollars before verifying my credentials so they emailed Wes to remit the money to the school account two days ago but Wes is yet to reply my school. So today I called Wes on phone with the number on their site, told them my reference number and my problem, but they said they don't pay schools to get verification done ,that they have never paid any school and they are also yet to see the email my school sent. No my problem is Wes doesn't pay school and my school is wait on them to remit a hundred dollars if they don't see d money in the schools account they won't touch my document. Please how do I go about it?? And has any one had similar issue in the past. Please your advice urgently needed because the schools am applying to is waiting on my verified transcript from Wes and application deadline is almost near. Thank you.

This is what I would advice you to do;
a) If you still have enough time and money before deadline resend your documents using EMS nipost/DHL/TNT/FedEx.
b) Keep tracking on US post office website and contact WES customer care speak to someone . Sometimes they might have received the docs but updating your online profile takes time just like Uniassist (Germany).
3) Keep calling NIPOST customer care numbers especially their Lagos offices.

Thanks, God bless!
It seems they have received it, because I asked
WES again, they said they have received
documents for my account....Although, I sent my
other school's transcripts through DHL which was
delivered in 2 days, and I think WES do not
usually reply if they receive only one document,
until they receive all. I will never try NIPOST
again...although it is very cheap but they can
give someone HBP. DHL na 'Baba'.

now it is over three weeks now that you have sent your documents to USA. The best thing now if the form hasn't been close is for you to send the documents again via DHL. It takes three days for the document to reach its destination.

Wow! Congrats.
It means that your document has arrived the US.
Try tracking it again on Monday evening to see if it has left the exchange office at the airport in the US.

The last time I saw this same on
trackitonline.com was on 3rd of June, ever since
then nothing is coming up on trackitonline.com
about it. Also all efforts to track it on USPS
proved abortive as it kept saying " service not
available for Nigeria"
I have visited the school and I was told it would
have gotten there by now. I also found out from
the school that Nipost Registered Mail is not
trackable beyond Lagos Airport (don't know how
true). I also went to the post office to find out
what's happening, they said it would have gotten
there, that if they couldn't get it delivered it
would be returned to them.
I checked my WES profile, it says they are yet to
receive my documents.

your parcel is in transit to it's destination,
it means it is in the plane cargo,
check again on Monday

yes it is still in Nigeria,
but in the airplane cargo,
it is in the final phase to take off!

since your parcel left on the 21st,
then it should arrive US either Friday or Saturday

That's it, as PDP is almost a dead political party. It is either he decamps to APC (if he'll be given a chance to development his political career) or to a soon to be born strong opposition party.
