Everyone that has written so far is talking about the many difficult Comprehension passages and questions. I believe the aim of the many/plenty Comprehension passages and questions in the ongoing EPT is to test how "FAST and accurate" the postgraduate candidate is able to read and UNDERSTAND a passage within a given time. In other words, they expect the candidate to finish reading and understanding a passage within 2-3 minutes. That is just the trick.

My exam comes up tomorrow morning and I can only hope for the best. I no go kill myself.

There were 4 comprehension passages very long. My advice leave the comprehension and do other parts then come bk to it. You need to read it very well to be able to understand. The other parts are quite easy to answer, some are just a bit confusing. And read your concord.

Did you write it in Lagos or Ibadan?

Who is writing their EPT test at huntsville on 14th Oct and coming from Abule-egba to sango axis? Please signify.

The applicants,according to reports here range over 20k applicants,and UI is expected to pick perhaps a little below half,
The time to get prepared is now.

Centres are mostly Lagos and UI(CBT Center),as the PH branch was closed last year.
The exams as other years will be taken next month(irrespective of ASUU's stance,unless otherwise stated),no official date is given but bear in mind,it is most likely the 3rd week in September from between tuesday through Saturday of that week.
There is no rescheduling so ensure you keep to the date,venue and time.(Remember,there are thousands jostling for same position)
Stay glued to your mails and text messages.

As I have re-echoed severally,excepting International Students,the transcript is secondary and unnecessary for now,so concentrate and put in efforts,as much as you can.
40 is the benchmark,but above 50 is a very STRONG added advantage,especially when population strength is to be reduced.
I repeat 50,even 60 is better........
You will not be allowed inside with bags,pens,handsets,just you and your God.

Results can be immediate but are intentionally delayed till the following week.
There is nothing like Past Questions,use your sample questions,practice them thoroughly and religiously,find similar examples,esp on grammar,lexis and structure,parallelism,et al.

Have the sample questions I used during my time,as well as those I had while I attended the proficiency test for NAU,Awka(just a playbook from UI).
Also know how to play with some GRE antonyms and synonyms
Mawkish,Jejune,prolix,munificence,etc etc(forgive me am not an English stud)

You can only be accepted into UI as a 200l direct entry student.

For all those people who still have false hope of going to camp this weekend please just forget about it. The inability of A16 stream 2 PCMs not being able to go to camp has little to do with the DG. The issue on ground is that the money has been approved but to get the money takes a whole lot of process. The process took a while when Nigeria's economy wasn't this bad let alone now that everything is Crashing. The only way that money could be made available to NYSC as early as possible is if the body mounts pressure on the central bank of Nigeria and the PCMs mount choking pressure on NYSC.

Congrats to dose dat av gain admission into u.i for dis session.As 4 the clerance,u first av 2 pay ur acceptance fee in2 any first bank branch nationwide den u print the admission letter(both student and institution),jamb form b003(can print in the sch premises behind the admission office),attestator form,medical form(wud be submitted later durn medical) and 4 the clerance form only the signature shud be written wit a pen,all other fields shud be filld wit microsoft word b/4 printing.
U wuld also nid 10 passports,4 photocopies of ur admission letter(institution's copy) 4 photocopies each of ur acceptance form,teller for acceptance and post jamb(#2500&#7500),statement of ssce result,jamb result,birth certificate,invitation letter.As 4 the attestion form; note dat u wud nid your own passport and ur attestator's passport 4 it and anoda extra passport 4 ur jamb b003 form, all the pasports must be the same den a file with 2 tags.pls take more dan enuf money wif u and get ready 2 go thru a lot of stress.u shud also take all ur documents concerning ur admission with u.any oda question can be sent to www.facebook.com/ajayi x-ander temitope.i'm also a fresher 4 dis session but u.i was my 1st choice.gudluck
