The major reason you lot think that way is probably because you suffer from low self-esteem yourselves. It is OK if a stranger — male or female— tells you stories of their struggles and even asks you for help in one way or another. It is equally OK for you to say, "No," if you don't have to give or if you don't wish to help them.

However, concluding that whenever a member of the opposite gender tells you of his/her troubles or struggles, that what is sort of even without it being asked is billing is a sign of low self-esteem. Also, thinking that the only way you could relate to that person in question would be to volunteer yourself as some sort of savior is a sign of low emotional intelligence.

This is 2025, let's all, together, strive for better social and emotional intelligence.

If you want me to engage you like a normal human being, don't start your comment with "Nonsense."

My dear catholic church is trying.
Last year I was hospitalised for some months, I didn't even ask for financial help( Already God was providing)but when my parish heard about it, they took over every dime. Infact EVERY DIME running into millions. My husband and my dad,and siblings were overwhelmed!

I know someone that went to medical school but was rusticated in his final year. Therefore going to medical school is a scam.

Nigeria my country should wake up and invest in education and other critical sectors like health, labour and employment, etc.

Obviously you don't understand what's going on here. The guy you're calling thief has a very good point. The lender is definitely not going to be using the MacBook that was dropped as collateral so how will he know if it's defective? While the guy that claims he wants to borrow money might be cleverly looking for a way to sell off his defective MacBook by using it as a collateral and never paying the loan back. Nobody drops a valuable item (like the car mentioned) as a collateral and not be serious with his loan repayment.
