Mekateka: Bishop Oyedepo said: "All those opposing and are against the peace of Nigeria, God would open the gates of hell to them". These were his words. But propagandalists party who strives in lies twisted the word from the Bishop because they already knew that they are the enemies of Nigeria who want to take over presidency by evil means.
Note: I was in the service today. It was our thanksgiving service today after the 21days fasting period.
We appreciate your correction. There are evil beings on nairaland, twitter and other social media who seek bitterness and chaos.
nellyjohn: Their is nothing to pardon becos it's among the requirements needed. Am even ashamed to have a just WASC holder as my president and dis will affect some children becos dey may decide not to study since there president is somehow uneducated
Donmarrius: Politics aside,APC is setting bad presedence in this country, just for their selfish gain. Nigerians, should we bend the rule, because of a bunch of power mongers, who are bent on derailing and basterdizing our legal institution?. Whatever we do today, remember, our generation will read of it.
Finally, the world is watching, and they are seeing those that wants to rule us,lets prove to the world, that Nigerians are not idiots,as APC is portraying to be. .
thank you. We need to stand against this. We need to use our PVCs to vote against this.
berem: Out of all the presidential candidates, there are two Igbos contesting for presidency. Chekwas Okorie and another. Chekwas Okorie seems popular than the other. Based on voting along ethnic lines,is Chekwas Okorie a threat to Jonathan's votes from Igbos? What is the extent of popularity of Chekwas Okorie among Igbos and his acceptance by his people? Will ndi-Igbo choose Chekwas Okorie over Jonathan or Buhari?
Only mature comments are welcomed. Insults and name callings will be reported to the mods.
A topic created by you, i'm not surprised about it.
APContherun: More light have been thrown on the controversy surrounding the APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari and his release of a Toronto certificate to online media instead of INEC by Col. Ben Gbulie (rtd)'s scholastic narrative. The situation in Nigeria pre and post Independent where unqualified people are favoured against the qualified, made it impossible for due process to be followed by Northerners who wanted to join the army or high institutions. Buhari joined the army in 1962 and less than 2 months to this date, he has a letter claiming to be a student. He was six months in Military training school and went to UK and stayed six months for 3 years course, there was no time in record that Buhari went back to college to complete his secondary school. According to Col. Ben Gbulie (rtd) writing, "By 1960, shortly after Nigeria's independence, the Prime Minister, Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, had directed the Principal of King's College, Lagos, Mr. P.H. Davies, to provide places, annually, for at least 15 boys from the North, whether or not they passed the requisite regular entrance examination." --- Col. Ben Gbulie (rtd) in "Nigeria's Five Majors" p. 36, published first in 1981. "In an attempt to catch up militarily with the South, the Northern politicians had thrown out all discretion. They had lowered standards of admission drastically, settling for the minimum. For as I recalled, all the Northerners in my intake had been trained at the Mons Officer Cadet School in Aldershot. And they had become officers after barely six months of military training, whereas those of us who had been sent to Sandhurst had had to do two long years to earn the Queen's Commission. The implications were quite clear - and most disturbing. Not only had these Northerners become commissioned officers before we were half-way... through our first year at Sandhurst, they had all risen to the enviable rank of Captain before we could even appear at the sovereign's parade which served essentially as a prerequisite for our passing out as Second Lieutenants." --- Col. Ben Gbulie (rtd) in "Nigeria's Five Majors, pages 12 - 13, Published 1981. "By 1964 a group of young Nigerian officer-cadets, mostly Northerners, had been declared academically unfit and hence repatriated by the Canadian military authorities. These cadets were however pronounced commissioned by the Nigerian Federal Government no sooner than they had arrived at the Ikeja Airport. Consequently they had had to be absorbed into the Nigerian Army as commissioned officers, even though they had received no requisite military training." ----- Col Ben Gbulie (rtd) in "Nigeria's Five Majors" page 13, published 1981. "Zak (Maimalari) had held the rank of Captain in 1960. But before my return from the United Kingdom in 1963, he had soared to the top rank of Brigadier. In other words, he had risen from Captain to Temporary/Major, to Substantive/Major, to Temporary/Lieutenant-Colonel, to Substantive/Colonel and then to Brigadier, all within that short span of time. It was just scandalous".
Change2015: There are too many unfortunate people in this government, and there is no evidence that Jonathan requires any level of discipline or probity in his ministers or staff. That must change. There must be consequences for inappropriate and illegal behaviour in government.

Those who left PDP to APC, are they corrupt? Like I said both Presidential candidates have unfortunate people around them.
Change2015: Financed by the same nation that pays 10billion to charter jets for Diezani, the same nation that has a presidential fleet of at least 8 aircraft, when even the US president has to 'manage' 2. Look up the manifesto. There will be a major program of house building of the affordable type, and there are initiatives to stimulate private enterprise and agriculture.
Once again I ask, Jonathan has made a copycat promise to provide the same jobs. No details included. Do you believe him?
#change #GMB #APC
Politicians lie. They lie to win support. As for Diezani, we have unfortunate people in every administration. PDP has, also APC.
Change2015: The APC is talking about creating jobs, and that necessarily includes private sector employment growth. If the government establishes the right framework, the private sector will pick up. Already there is a commitment to adding 100,000 to the police because of our obvious security issues.

You've not answered the question. 100,000 to the police? Interesting. Financed by who? Funds generated how?
President Obama hasn’t racked up the 18 million jobs created under Reagan or the 22 million under Clinton but the Obama economy has flown by an interesting milestone passed with no fanfare at all.
More net jobs have been created under Obama — 5,142,000 as of the August jobs report — than under George H.W. Bush — 2,637,000 — and George W. Bush — 1,282,000 — combined, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

There is a difference between employment by government and private sector. How do you intend "to put money in the hands of Nigerians"? I hope you understand the quote. Its not printing more money.
Obama over the last six years created a little more than 1.5 million jobs. It is literally impossible for Nigeria, a country who isn't even 5% of America in terms of economy, production and market to make 720,000 talk much the first lie of 3 million jobs per year.
fr3do: Create jobs as in civil service? That would be economic suicide, recurrent expenditure will be too much. It is Nigerians that can employ Nigerians.
The truth is important. We know what he(Buhari) said in 2011 which incited violent attacks in the North. We've asked from men and women who are well of age about he did when he was in authority. You don't fight corruption when people around you are corrupted. The truth will always be revealed. God bless Nigeria.
Page saved. Youths don't ask elderly people the truth of past years. They(youth) support blindly and refuse to know the truth. I've asked and heard what he(Buhari) did when in authority, also what he said which incited violence in the north. Thank you for this post. The truth will always be revealed.
thank you biafranqueen for enlightening people on the progress of GEJ administration. We appreciate greatly. God continue to bless GEJ. God continue to enrich Nigerians whose heart are for the good of this nation.
bokohalal: If Obasanjo opened the secret account and Yar'Adua continued to operate the account, is it not glaring that GEJ knows about it since it is still open? Or is Yar'Adua operating the account from the grave? Now that the account has become a hot potato what has the GEJ Presidency done about it.? If you claim he does not know the more reason he is not fit to be the country's president.
Was President Obama aware(informed) about some NSA/CIA operations?
