hmmmm, I never knew these guys were serious...but then, LIONSGATE, the movie production company we all know about, have acquired the rights to produce a Live Action Movie of Naruto. They've also involved some of the heavyweights in movie making especially those with special effects. Auditioning and Casting will soon begin and the shoot will likely start next year.

I just hope it doesn't become as deappointing as The Last Airbender movie.

The casting and the making's gon' be very difficult.

You guys talk as if you dont read any thing about war or history... its not as if the uchiha populations was running into 6000 or tens of thousands...after all how many uchihas were shown to be in the police setion very few lots.... what many of you fail to notice or observe is that coup is done with few people mostly because its internal.. am sure if the coup was successful it will be from the intel received from both shisui and itachi coz they know the in and out of anbu and hokage routine.. e.g when danzo wanted to take over from hiruzen(coup-de-dat) using small tenzo..una no think am say how that one go take kill 3rd..even danzo was so relaxed about it that he was shocked to find hiruzen alive... for the coup to take place no be to kill the two elders join with danzo and hiruzen... and take note the uchiha didnt expect a traitor amongst themselves hence the laxity... if they took into consideration that their clan hope or genius cud go rogue they wouldnt av been massacred like that... its just like a coach planning strategies with his boys b4 match day itell u in his planning he wont plan for own goal that may come from the keeper or his star player, his planning will not include 12 or 15 minutes substitution of two or one injure player...abi who fit tell me say van gaal planned for 3 goals in 20mins.... if 6 pein fit down a whole village in broad day light how much less or difficult wud it be if a clan member decided in the dead of the night to kill his brethren... itachi fit meet mr aluko for 9pm with mr aluko unaware of what itachi is going to do to him..

Well, even till the point he died, he kept insisting twas so. I really think Kishi made a change there somehow. I mean, Itachi claimed to Love his brother, and wanted to drive him nuts. Claimed to Love Konoha, and wouldn't mind if Sasuke killed Naruto...He's my favorite character along with Kakashi, but somethings didn't really add up.

My thoughts exactly, Those are my two favourites also

but I also revere Uchiha Madara

Itachi defines who and what an hero/matyr should be

The whole clan was annihilated like there wasn't any skilled shinobi in the uchiha, even the main village was dreading a war with the uchiha caln

it kinda seemed too easy to ME that a strong clan which was very wary at that time could just get wiped out like that

Its also a fact that twas a night attack when the lights have gone out. Don't compare it with Pain who lunched an all out open attack by day time.
Its also a fact that twas done by only 2 people.... Itachi and Obito.
Itachi himself had no real grudge towards the clan, so when he was given the job, he contacted 'Madara' to help him out.
Obito himself have been moving in and out of Konoha unnoticed, so its not hard for him to appear in pitch darkness and kill off people without being noticed.
As for Itachi, he also took his parents unawares and that was because of Sasuke......and yes, he had the MS before then. It awoke around when Shisui died. He didn't kill Shisui though. (And this is the plot hole....why did he keep pressuring Sasuke to kill his best friend for the MS, making it seem like its the only way...while that wasn't his own way).
