There are many ways our everyday lifestyle affects to our health, be it emotionally, psychologically or otherwise. So without writing much I will take you to the top 5 ways our everyday lifestyle affect to our health negatively or positively. 1. Gambling – Gambling have a great effect on our daily living, those that gamble know what am talking about. It brings joy when you are winning and it causes emotional trauma when you are losing. If you depend on gambling to make a living then you are 75% putting your health at risk because when you losing money to gambling company daily you chances of developing high blood pressure is very high because at the end of the day you’ll remember something good you might have done with the money you lost to those gambling company. So if you want to live healthy daily then shun gambling 2. Lying – when you make lying your everyday habit then you are toiling with your health because for every lie you tell you need 10 more lies to cover it up thereby overworking your brain. The worst part of this is that you get scared whenever you see the people you’ve been lying to thereby making you to get this phobia for people around you. SHUN LYING so that you may live long because LIERS ARE LIABLE TO RUN FROM PEOPLE WHEN THEY RUN OUT OF LIES.. 3. Unemployment – this is a major problem because the number of unemployed youth is increasing as the day passes by and that is how demand increase too so this is a major challenge to health because this can lead to high blood pressure and probably suicide. So if the government do not provide job then the unemployed should involve themselves in some skills that will be beneficial to them to affect stories that touch. 4. Relationship – it is important to work on your own mental health before going into a relationship. If you are in a healthy relationship it helps you improve on your mental health but an unhealthy relationship is disastrous to our health. So if you are in an unhealthy relationship better quit and go into relationship that will give you a sound health. 5. Diet – diets affects our physical health. So good diet increases our chances of staying healthy daily. Source- http://wildentertain..nl/2017/01/top-5-ways-our-lifestyle-affects-our.html?m=1 Lalasticlala |

I've been dating this girl for the past 1yr and seven month. Infact this period was the best and worst part of my life. We've been having problem of cheating, infact she admitted dating like three to four guys in this period but she said it wasn't a sexual relationship (I.e she never had sex with them), is that even possible? I wasn't a s aint either cos I was the one cheating most, I've lost count of the ladies I slept with throughout dating her. There was something she did nov. 9 2015 that I can't and never forgive her. She used my phone to call her friend to make enquiry of what she was going to get for one of those her bf for his birthday(chai my own credit na em she use), when I found out she used my phone to make that call I felt like killing her. She did so many things that are worse than this but am not in the mood to type. I called her this morning to thank her and appreciate the time we've spent together and boom I told her the big thing that am breaking up with, she was suprise cos she never saw it coming. After ending the call I felt this great joy within me and relief. Am so excited this morning. |

I was flipping through nairaland yesterday and I stumbled upon this post https://www.nairaland.com/3537346/uba-atm-daura-katsina-overcrowded about some crowd at an ATM queue in daura. Yes it was actually a queue at an ATM but not in daura, it happened in otukpo benue state. It was in UBA otukpo opposite st. Mary's primary school. I witnessed the queue myself. So nobody should be mislead that it was daura. And I think the main reason for the queue is because Gov. Ortom just paid civil servant at the dying minute to the yuletide so people are trying to cashout for the xmas celebration Lalasticlala

Despite reported differences in appearance and behavior, DNA evidence finds that Namibian desert elephants share the same DNA as African savanna elephants. However, Namibian desert-dwelling elephants should be protected so they can continue to pass on their unique knowledge and survival skills to future generations. "The ability of species such as elephants to learn and change their behavior means that genetic changes are not critical for them to adapt to a new environment," said lead author Alfred Roca, a professor of animal sciences and member of the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology at the University of Illinois. "The behavioral changes can allow species to expand their range to novel marginal habitats that differ sharply from the core habitat." Namibian desert-dwelling elephants have figured out how to prevent overheating in triple-digit temperatures by covering their bodies with sand wetted by their urine or regurgitated water from a specialized pouch beneath their tongue that holds many gallons of water. They also remember the location of scarce water and food resources across their home ranges, which are unusually large compared to those of other elephants. They play a critical role in this arid ecosystem by creating paths and digging watering holes. Published in Ecology and Evolution, this study evaluated the nuclear DNA and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) of both desert-dwelling and non-desert- dwelling elephant populations throughout Namibia. Researchers found the desert-dwelling elephant DNA was not significantly different from the DNA of other savanna elephant populations in Namibia, except from those of the Caprivi Strip. Female elephants live in tight-knit matrilineal family groups so mutations in mtDNA, which is passed from mothers to offspring, are closely tied to geographic populations. Not surprisingly, mitochondrial DNA from savanna elephants in Namibia's Caprivi Strip -- a small region analogous to Oklahoma's panhandle -- was more similar to mitochondrial DNA of elephants in Botswana and Zimbabwe, which border the Caprivi Strip. "Our results and the historical record suggest that a high learning capacity and long distance migrations enabled Namibian elephants to shift their ranges to survive against high variability in climate and in hunting pressure," said first author Yasuko Ishida, a research scientist in animal sciences at Illinois. The lack of genetic differentiation (aside from the Caprivi Strip) is consistent with historical evidence of elephant movements during the Namibian War of Independence, which increased hunting pressures. Using mtDNA, the researchers identified other Namibian elephant migration patterns; for example, elephants from the Ugab River catchment shared mtDNA with elephants from the Huab River catchment, from where they are said to have migrated. The lack of genetic differences in Namibian elephants could also be attributed to their long distance migrations; large home ranges; recent increases in population size and range; or gene flow provided by male elephants breeding with different groups of female elephants. "Regardless, these elephants should be conserved," said Roca. "Their knowledge of how to live in the desert is crucial to the survival of future generations of elephants in the arid habitat, and pressure from hunting and climate change may only increase in the coming decades. "The desert elephants are also rumored to be larger, which may put them at greater risk for trophy game hunting," he added. "Animals that live in these marginal environments are vulnerable, and their numbers do not bounce back very quickly. " Story Source: The above post is reprinted from materials provided by Carl R. My mum is a senior executive officer in one of the higher institution in benue state. She came back from her office last night showing me a salary alert she and her colleague received. They were all amazed that the governor paid the sum of 10 naira as salary. And they haven't received salary for over 5 months. Is this the change we voted?
