What can you say about the promiscuous impression the society has about actresses and female entertainers?
I will say that the impression is wrong and it’s a big lie. But it’s a free world and if you want to, you will. It’s a thing of choice. But that doesn’t mean that the whole women in the industry sleep around, and that’s why they are not getting married.

There are so many people out there who live their lives the way they want. How many do you hear about? But because we are the faces out there, everybody believes that we don’t have a private life anymore and everything that happens in our lives, they have to know about it. As if they knew when you were born. It’s just one of the things we face for being actresses.

It’s like your profession attracts the wrong kind of men?
Even if it brings the wrong men to you, it is still a thing of choice. You decide what you want and it is what you want that will happen.

A man named, Okeke Ambrose Ifedilichukwu, has been arrested at the Kotoka International Airport in Ghana after it was discovered that he was caught trying to smuggle drugs by swallowing pellets of cocaine.

Officials of the Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) arrested the 55-year-old man after he arrived at the KIA aboard an Emirates aircraft en route to Dubai when he was arrested, Ghanaweb says.

Deputy Executive Secretary of NACOB, Nii Lante Blankson, said the suspect left Abidjan for Accra where he was on transit.

He said while Okeke was on the flight, the airline officials realised that he was behaving abnormally and so as soon as the plane landed in Accra, he was referred to the Aviation Clinic at the airport for observation.

Officials of NACOB were alerted and Okeke admitted to them later on that he had swallowed pellets of cocaine.

He said he was supposed to deliver them to somebody in Dubai.

An X-ray taken at the Akai House Clinic confirmed that the suspect had a number of pellets of cocaine in his stomach.

Painful - A teenage girl was allegedly raped by up to 27 men after being lured to a hotel on the promise of a job.

The 17-year-old is believed to have been taken to Jaipur, a popular tourist destination in northern India, by her neighbours before being raped by the gang, which included hotel staff, for more than 24 hours.

The victim was also reportedly denied food and made to stay in the small room during the attack on August 30.

She complained to police when she returned to Delhi and six men have been arrested. The rest of the suspects are on the run or have not been identified, officers confirmed.

A police officer, who wanted to remain anonymous, said they had confirmed the involvement of 10 people.

He added: "She was confined to a hotel where 10 people including the manager took turns to rape her.

"She managed to escape last week and file a complaint in Delhi. Based on her complaint, we have arrested six men and we are studying the CCTV footage from the hotel to nab the rest of the suspects."

The girl was in need of employment because her father, an alcoholic, had run the family into debt, the Hindustan Times reported.

A Man called Mr. Salongo Kawuki Bwogere abandoned his wife, 35-year-old Faridah Nantumbwe and his children after she gave birth to the fourth albino child two years ago. Her told his wife that in their clan they did not produce albinos, whom he described as a curse.

He also barred his wife from cultivating on their land. Nantumbwe, now resident in Mugongo, Uganda said she used to live with her husband at Kirume village Gombolola Kasambya in Mubende district where they had their children.
She narrated that after they had the fourth child her husband chased her and vowed to kill her and the children. “Although he decided to chase me away, Bwogere never provided me with transport. He just told me to find my way out of his house.

As a non-stipendiary, I had to appeal to people of good heart to bail me out of my burden of giving birth to albinos. However, through thick and thin I managed to get enough money for transport to take me to my home at Mugongo where I now live with my children,” Despite her ordeal, Nantumbwe has vowed not to abandon her children like her husband did.
She is currently seeking financial and any other assistance from people of good will, to raise her children. “After all they are human beings like other children who are not albinos”. Faridah gave birth to her first child, Ivan Ssewagudde at the age of 20. She said she was shocked to see that she had given birth to a ‘white’ child and so was her husband, little did she know what lay ahead.
