INTERMAN:
don't let me call you an idiot. I know people like you! To full of themselves! Who told you the man set class note? Frivoulous
And where did i say anything like that? You need to go and find out the duties of a course coordinator, he's in charge of how exam questions are set, where and when it's written among others. And the word is spelt frivolous not Frivoulous sir.

So she has two pending relationships with two guys, one in Italy and one in Ghana...trust me, she tell those guys the same words she told you about loving you the most. grin cheesy

She's securing her future. grin
it's so annoying undecided, can't she work out something on her own? Must her future depend on guys? If it's so then she's likely to fail or have a bleak future.
Romance › Re: Should I Keep On Dating This Girl Or Should I Break Up With Her? by Ximenez(m):
Please get out of her life, she's is using you for emotional comfort. If you don't leave on your own accord now, you'll be forced to do so when either of those guys is around. You are just friends with benefits. Stop watching Telenovela /Telemundo, those sh*t ain't real. In fact out of the three of you, you are the last in her pecking order and your value has reduced cos she sees you more often. You are not Romeo neither are you Jack.

Just look at yourself, writing 'is changing, is changed and very worse' undecided, you are not representing OAU.
That aside, the only thing the coordinator did was surprised the candidates, he changed the pattern and there were little or no past questions repeated and this really work, it didn't turn out well for the lazy candidates who are in the habit of just 'cramming' past questions without reading their class notes.
Science is meant to be read, understand and applied, it's not about 'cramming ' PQ and going into the exam all to shade like a zombie.,something similar to this also happened to those who took BOT101, that instead of the expected MCQ, they were met with short structured questions and fill-in the gaps.
Lastly, you bringing it to the Social Media is ridiculous, according to the coordinator, the result was approved by the Senate before releasing it, no form of injustice had been done, just a set of lazy students that has been caught unaware. If you like call lalasticlala or Linda ikeji from now till next year, it won't change anything. Only God can intervene and only the students can help themselves.

Yea, a candidate might add that to make it 9 subjects

Kindly go and read the Prof post, you will see that there was a mathematical error while adding the scores together. Nobody is above mistake. So, stop saying what you don't know her score is more than 78%. You didn't even read the Prof's post before making comments.
i read it yesterday, and this morning people were complaining that the provost left out computer studies A1 amd and picked Further Maths B2. That's how it's supposed to be.

greenermodels:
students don't run away from such subjects but are rather forced into it by the federal government who introduced the new curriculum. it's also worsened by teachers most of whom are either not university graduates or gained admission themselves through the Backdoor, talking from experience .
you are required to register for minimum of 7 and maximum of 9. As a science student this combination is good enough (English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, physics, Agricultural science, Economics, Geography) you can now add one Nigerian Language even though it's no longer compulsory.

Dear Prof., by the moniker Adesegunfat, I've always known OAU to be a reputable institution and so, please do the needful asap. The legacies left behind since the early 90's is expected to still be maintained till date. In case a candidate had occupied this poor prospective student's place in error, due to an influence propelled by a letter from the above, please do the reversal asap. The case is already in the public domain so, it's no more hidden. There are quite reputable people here on nairaland, including Senators, Governors, Ambassadors, Embassies, Companies' CEOs, DGs, Medics, etc who are only known by different monikers , except the US Embassy whose moniker can be easily noticed and I strongly believe they're closely following this case as well. I want to continue to remain anonymous myself, until when there's need for me to act. Thanks for your anticipated cooperation in this regard.
Well said sir, but this was caused by the new admission policy, if you calculate her screening score from morning till evening with the right subjects it won't reach 78%. Even though I'd have preferred if OAU make use of only UTME scores for admission like UNIBEN and some schools, while making the minimum of 5 credits in the relevant Olevel results as an entry requirement, in this case this brilliant girl wouldn't have any problem

duni04:
This is pure rubbish. In OAU where I studied, there were hundreds of students from delta state. I think they had the biggest students association in the entire school, during my time.
I agree that the admission process in Ife is fraught with plenty of irregularities. OAU is a good school so a lot of people try to get in by hook or crook. Unfortunately with this girls case, it seems the crooked admissions are gaining the upper hand and becoming more daring. To scheme out someone with 320 in Jamb and a decent WAEC result is the height of fraud, very daring fraud. If this girl seriously takes this thing up, plenty of heads will roll starting with this provost that doesn't even know simple maths and is trying to fraudulent explain his way out of his wayo.
Don't mind the clown, they even have their indigenous association in OAU, the truth is that some people can never forget how they were dealt a huge blow by OAU post Utme then, back then you'll see people with high jamb score not getting up to 200 in the post utme, hence this is the perfect time to air their long bottled up frustration

It's only OAU Great IFE that admission arguments like this can arise. grin

Proudly Great IFE!!!

Oga Provost please do the right thing...
There's nothing to be done again, the girl did not meet the merit cut off point, hence she wasn't admitted. but what the provost refused to talk about is that even tho the quota given to OAU for medicine and Surgery by MDCN is 100, OAU do admit a little bit above 100 (112-124) over the years, I'm just saying this cos I'd love to see the lady admitted because with that her olevel result and UTME result she could have gotten Medicine in all the federal universities in Nigeria even in UI and unilag who make use of just five subjects. Except maybe Unilorin who wouldn't even bother to tell you why.
Education › Re: OAU Admission Saga: Aror Oghenerukewve Got 79.05% not 75.2% by Ximenez(m):
Please don't expect OAU to accept subjects like fisheries, computer studies, catering and all these newly introduced subjects like home economics, civic education for screening into Medicine and Surgery, OAU only accepts the core science subjects (best cool That's why Further maths (B2) was picked from her result and computer studies (A1) was neglected.
The second point is that the quota for merit admission is 45% and the merit is irrespective of your state of origin, so for her to be admitted she must be part of the first 45/100 of the candidates that applied since she's not from any of the catchment areas which is alloted 35% and ELDS 20%.
Generally speaking now, candidates now run away from subjects like Economics, Agricultural science, Geography etc in their WASSCE, while they opt for subjects like fishery, Animal Husabandry, catering etc because of the higher chances of making distinctions in those subjects. There are chances that these subjects might not be accepted and screened for you during the POST-UTME screening depending on the department you are applying to. That's why some people would submit 9 subjects and at the end only five subjects would be picked neglecting the likes of woodworks, catering etc.

Sanchez should take a cue from Faberegas,Hleb, clichy, sagna, van persie, kolo toure, Ashley Cole, Samir Nasri and the rest and go elsewhere to win league trophy, Arsenal FC is a serial failure. This should have been an easy game for Man city but for Bravo and Stones. In fact i still tip Man City to win this one as this is the period when Arsenal normally have their seasonal Menstruation thereby allowing multiple teams to rape them and ending up finishing fourth.

Africans and ignorance, the man is 41 already. It's these children that need the fish the most because they are still growing, but reverse is the case here it's the old people who will take the big chunk of meat and fish while leaving crumbs for little children who genuinely need it for their growth and nourishment. That was how one woman came to our house a long time ago and told my mum not to allow us to serve ourselves cos she thinks it will teach us to be greedy. When she was gone my mum just instructed us to always eat on the dinning table and never to bring our food to the sitting room again.

Maybe you are just too boring and not as interesting and spontaneous as his 'female friends' but you are still a good girl, hence he can't let go of you. Dude is getting all his needs from different ladies. Ask him to deny being the said girl's boyfriend online once the girl put their pictures together again with a romantic caption, that's when you'll realize that you are not the first in his pecking order.
