Well for you I think it may be too late - you may need to adjust your dreams a little.

But I think this thread should be a warning to the unmarried - don't rush into marriage. Before you do, you need to work and build up to the stage where marriage will help you develop your dreams, not hinder them.

2 years ago, a colleague from the university who had gotten married looked me in the eye and said Smarty don't do it! - until you've accomplished your self development dreams otherwise marriage may become a trap.

Get that master's first. Build that side business first. Buy that car first. if within reach, build that house first. And not getting married early doesn't mean running around with women either.

Programming / Re: Is DSA Really Necessary For A Programmer/web, App Developer? by Xinjin: 8:09am On Mar 20, 2023
Yes and No. Knowing dsa is one thing, building with your frontend is another thing. So you need to separate them and know which is important at what time.
Knowing dsa improve your fundamental understanding of programming languages and data structures. You may not need it to build a project. At the same time you may need it to answer why a code be written in certain ways bearing in mind 'efficiency'
Overall knowledge of fundamentals of dsa is good for a programmer.

You're only scared of the unknown, Get your path defined. look for a mentor or an internship position. Stand out first with what you have learnt. In the end you only work with fraction of all these you have learnt. With a couple of applications you will definitely get an interview, it's now up to you to defend your skills. How do you switch b/w male & female

I like that you did research your self, shows that you're serious. but to be honest all you wrote up there would take at least 2years to cover the fundamentals, It's also a road map to confusion grin

Search for fullstack road map on w3shool & follow the language or path that suit you all the best!

The same way you would ask, is 40 years old too old to become a Medical Doctor? or is 40 year old too old to become a footballer? well if you have the mental capability, fitness among others why not? it's not same question as 40 years too old to live? has some one said up. as any one can die at any age.

I've thought of doing this. Any documentation to get up to speed on this, or will you be kind to explain the steps?
1. You could create react app manually without using npm, yarn

2. what you ask!
*Copy public, src and packagedotjson of existing app
* change app name inside packagejson
*go to your terminal inside your project directory(containing packagjson) and run > npm install or yarn install to install require packages

Nb: You will not get other files like service workers, logo etc that npx create react app gives you

you mean todo app?
Companies know people are self taught but they prefer commercial experience. They prefer that you learnt from working on the job and not through self learning or pleasure. Because you are able to meet deadlines. Start by freelancing or volunteer. Also do you have api experience like graphql and rest, can you do webpack and microservices. Do you have agile sw experience, do you have aws or azure experience? Do you postgre experience, can you use docker or kubernetes containers?
Most time, the aforementioned are the real experience needed. knowing a programming language and building websites with it is not just enough.

Hmmm great response as I must say. And oh yeah, I'm quite vast with python too cos I learned data structures and algorithm with it. Thanks.
As a frontend dev you would be working with data from the backend, knowledge of how d backend is structure is an added advantage. since you have knowledge of python, why not pick up web framework flask of django.
