Programming / Re: Please Am Stuck Here. (python Tutorial) by Xionglu(m): 3:49pm On Aug 02, 2016
furthest:
In many cases we will use a feature of program execution in Idle: that after program execution is completed, the Idle
Shell still remembers functions defined in the program. This is not true if you run a program by selecting it directly in
the operating system.
Look at the example program birthday3.py. See it just adds two more lines, not indented. Can you guess what it
does? Try it:
1 ’’’Function definition and invocation.’’’
2
3 def happyBirthdayEmily():
4 print("Happy Birthday to you!"wink
5 print("Happy Birthday to you!"wink
6 print("Happy Birthday, dear Emily."wink
7 print("Happy Birthday to you!"wink
8
9 happyBirthdayEmily()
10 happyBirthdayEmily()

When you write scripts on shell, it is not auto indented but u can indent it by using the tab key....shell not remembering the function declared, I doubt that.....i use the shell a lot on Kali Linux for testing some code before rewriting it in my editor...

As someone said earlier, use an editor rather than shell if u are a newbie.....Python is cool
To add, you don't get the real power of python in windows, go dirty like a friend said to me,that is use Linux...python comes preinstalled with it and some other libraries. Real programmers don't use windows, switch your style up bro.....see u @ d top

Nairaland / General / Students Protest Due To Sudden Increase Of Transportation Fare by Xionglu(m): 7:14pm On Apr 20, 2015
it was a great shock to all oouites as the transportation fare from Ago garage to Permanent site popularly known as PS increased from #30 to #40 .students came out in mass to stop the affected bus from transporting students from PS to garage which the drivers concluded to reduce it back to normal.
After some seconds,all the affected drivers decided to change their regular route and students were left stranded until recently when the chief security officer(CSO) came to speak with the students.
"we(sug president,cso, and school authority)held a meeting on Friday concerning the issues raised by the drivers that pligh garage to Ps that the cost of garage to PS is not befitting.But to our notice,the conclusion of the meeting was not told"
A student was asked to talk and he said some students whose name was not stated went to the SUG secretariat and discussed the issue at hand today.
He said,the SUG president told them that the issue will be resolved I.e the fee will be brought back to normal.
A driver was questioned why the fee was increased and he said the filling station in Ago iwoye do sell a litre of petrol for #95......see pics at http://oougist.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=15

My last gf came to my room at school the other day and I cooked for her, entertained her very well but when she showed green light , I rejected it. I have been calling her since then but she doesn't pick my calls. They all say that I'm not a man. pls what should I do to keep a good girl into a relationship?
