Few months ago I started my solar journey with a 3kva/24v Gennex Hybrid Inverter with 60A MPPT Charger inbuilt.

My PV arrays are 355W x4. (Canada Panel)
with 2 De-Bull 230ah tubular batteries.

After installation, the batteries were left to charge for 2 days without any load on the inverter.

After one week of installation and usage, running a moderate load of about 150w all around, the batteries started entering low mode. sometimes, as soon as the charging sources are switched off, the battery indicators drop 2 bars out of 4 to show inky 2 bars of battery reserve left without any load.

After going back and forth and taking the batteries back to the dealer to be charged etc.., the engineer of the company told me that I need add more panels.

Today I changed the batteries to dry cells, and also got same results of battery indicator dropping to 2 bars when d sun has gone off.

Could it be that my Inverter ain't charging the battery properly or the Inverter is draining the batteries?

Also check if your inverter supports your battery technology. Connecting the inverter to battery alone for a while during installation will help the inverter detect it and choose the appropriate charging calibration

Can you snap the all the readings on your system for us to help.

Some possible things:

the charging system may not be ok.(some inbuilt mppt na scam)

The inverter might be drawing nice amount of load .

Try charging your new batteries with NEPA full for the first time b4 installation.

Do this: try borrowing an external mppt charger and charge battery full then see if same will repeat. If it does your inverter is a monster.

All so Get a clamp meter to check current draw from battery on no load(this will proof if your inverter is the problem or not)

I think this is too much for someone on a budget

2.5kva 24v can still do the job even 2kva 24v.

His current draw during the day won't be more that 1.5A.
Pannel he needs to charge 280w 4v for 6hrs Sun at 50% loss is roughly 1680W +350W for load during day that's 2030W.

So 350w *6 will charge the battery full during the day while your load is on while you use the battery while Sun is out during night.

My setup is 350w *4 and 2.5va with 2*200AH battery with similar load,i use it while charging during,full battery by or b4 5pm and it lasts all night
