A corper was accosted by voters in the Abakpa area of Enugu State allegedly transferring Labour party (LP) votes to NNPP.

During the 2023 presidential and national assembly elections across Nigeria, the National Youth Service Corps employed by INEC was apprehended in the act of manipulating votes.

Operations staff of some of Nigeria’s commercial banks informed Nairametrics that they were instructed to write down all the serial numbers of the new naira notes whenever customers make withdrawals. The staff requested anonymity as they feared being punished.

Like a poor child suffering from undiagnosed Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC- a non-progressive condition that is characterized by joint stiffness and limited range of motion), the health sector is not ‘working.’ The challenges are grave, complex, and unfortunate: from
grossly insufficient funding, and paucity of healthcare professionals, to poor infrastructures, all made worse by the presence of a Government that does not consider healthcare its priority. The result of this quagmire is a deficiency in quality healthcare delivery in the country. Poor patients suffer the brunt of this – a common case in healthcare establishments. The patient’s relatives also suffer – however, their issues are sadly, often overlooked.

Prof. Isa Pantami, the minister for communication and the digital economy, has urged the stakeholders to give less importance to educational achievements and more importance to the relevant skills that will make graduates from Nigeria employable.
